Sorry for not telling you guys earlier about the tyres we are running, yeah it is Sports: softs.

Will jump in a room soon if anyone wants to piss around it in, but please before you jump in clear your cache, psn has been playing up a fair bit lately. I am going to run a rule and test how it works for these enduro's... let me know if you think its a **** idea please...

As its a long race... I want there to be a 2 lap restart policy. So for the first 2 laps. if anyone gets dropped or there is carnage from lag. I will restart the race if the leader has not crossed the line to start his 3rd lap yet. I will only restart it once. Only doing this as people have been testing for this race and to be binned on the first 2 laps of a 1.5 to 2 hour race is crap. As taital has been doing a mightly fine job in the other series with regards to beng a marshal, Me and him will have the abililty to call a restart, As taital is further up the front, im sort of in the middle, we will also look for someone in the back end of the field to give the ability to call a restart, that way if something happens at the back of the field and taital is up front and doesnt see the incident, we will have all areas covered.

ALSO, as it is an enduro, there will be cars being lapped, if you see a car coming up behind you and you are being lapped, HOLD YOUR RACING LINE, BUT DO NOT BATTLE AGAINST THEM, let them find their own way past you. If they are good enough to be up front, they are good enough to pass you cleanly without you having to get off the gas and pull off the racing line.

A big massive congrats to Jasr who stuck it with me for 65 laps. A lot of mixed emotions, of course I would have liked to win it but pressure and fatigue got the better of me.

OK boys I enjoyed that race, just need a few more people to join so we have people battling throughout the field. So if you know anyone that would be keen be sure to let them know. If we get same numbers next time, we might look to a shorter run or 2 shorter races to make up the 2 hours.

Next race will include a Race Spec car, it could be the XR8, but we will have to see, depending on everyones situation of if they have the car and if they will turn up. we are open for suggestions too, so dont hold back.

Quick idea, Maybe we just change the laps to suit the number of people that rock up. Tonight we ran 65 laps. If the same number turned up and i could change the laps, i would have thought 50 to 55 could have been better. Or do you guys prefer the longer race no matter what? thoughts

Congrats Jas , and thanks all for turning up. Like Rota said , would have been good with a few more. Personally , it was getting tedious after lap 50. I had no chance of catching the next guy (Rota) and I had only the fast guys coming from behind lapping me.

Thanks barf for a great battle at the start. We had a very similar pace , I was having a real hard time finding a spot to pass you cleanly but at the same time was really enjoying the battle and kind of wanted to prolong that as long as possible !

Hats off to everyone for sticking it out. I was stuffed after that. My right caff was cramping pretty badly at one point. That's a tough car at a tough track and you don't get many spots to relax. Just finishing is a massive 👍

Wayn, that could of easily gone your way I reckon, I got away with a couple of big moments and (some how) I kept it facing in the right direction, lucky

Looking forward to the next one.

Interesting race I had last night, having done a total of 0 minutes testing the setup for tyre wear and such I pitted once more than necessary, and too early on a couple of occasions, also had a few excursions into the barrier along the way

I had a good battle for a while with Jol and Divecable, well done guys I just had no tyres at the end there.

And well done to Jasr and Wayn for caning the rest of us, excellent drives

I was think about it then when I saw Rotaboater was hosting it I had to join. Rota and I raced (if you could call it racing) heaps when Oni hosted races.

For anyone that does not have an XR8 and is keen to join the race. I think you can use the licence section to go into a test and exit a few times to completely refresh the used car dealership. Not 100% if it works but worth a try if you are keen As we will not run the race unless enough have the car

Yep, do it 4 times (4 license skips) and does a whole refresh of the UCD...

Only update atm is we are going to run the XR8 next race at Rome Reverse. Depending on the numbers it will be 2 shorter races if there is less than 8 or so drivers, any more and we will do the full 1.5 to 2 hour enduro there. It is a very short track, and you can throw this car around the corners with almost no rubber left on. So it will be an exciting race. I am also floating the idea of turning penalties off for this race. you can not cut any corners and from talking to a few of the drivers, I and others would prefer a more realistic enduro by having people overtake lapped drivers cleanly. This does bring a much higher chance of crashes and damage and there is only 1 real corner that is ideal for passing so people will have to pay extra attention to passing, and I will create another post on the correct rules or passing lapped drivers closer to the race.
