Good race last night guys. I had a good run on those hards with rod and rusty providing a tow and i think did one stop less than most people. Tnx to rod and rusty for the clean racing and velly for the race.

Man that was a quick pace by you front guys:scared:

Hey everyone, Sorry for being a bit silent the past 2 weeks, been out of the country and then uni exams hit. Almost done, so once I jump on GT5 (which hasnt been for like 2 weeks :embarrassed:) I am going to start testing some tracks and cars together for the next enduro.

Anymore ideas would be good for me and spin and who ever else is online at the time to test. The idea of the RUF challenge sounds good, but it seems velly and his carmanchero's already run the RUFs a fair bit, if im wrong, we will look into it, but this enduro each month is about finding a fun, close race with cars that arn't typically run, So look for a car that sits in your garage that needs some TLC that is fun to drive and we can look at it as an option.

Remember this month we are running a non race spec car. This means any standard car under the 1 million value (as its too late to get everyone to find it in the UCD so if we need to send some we can), or any premium car, Tuner cars are also allowed in non race spec category. IF the cars are ok on sports tyres we will use them, but if we find a nice car we are all happy with but it needs the race compounds, then whatever entitles us fun, close racing.

Talk soon boys and let the ideas flow, Im keen for a real close race this next enduro :)

Also, that Golf race looked fun velly, angry I missed it. feel free to post up your events here as the more races we all do together the better :)

Here is my list of cars if they are to be left standard and run on RH and RM tyres...
2004 Lotus Elise 111R '04
1999 Lotus Motor Sport Elise '99 (cos it looks awesome)
1986 RUF BTR '86
2000 RUF RGT '00
2009 Audi R8 5.2 FSI quattro '09
2008 Nissan 370Z Tuned Car (GT Academy Version) '08

or choose a low powered good handling car like the Golf to make for silly close racing!

PS, my lounge this sunday for GT by Citroën Race Car Enduro.
Not sure what track yet or how many laps..yes, sort of a season 7 tester ;)

Hey there Velly, I'd be keen to join in the Enduro this weekend...although can we please run the cars at the upcoming ORS specs?

Yes Rusty, that was the plan. 500bhp, 1200kg 600pp (room will be set by bhp/weight)
track is suzuka and will be a 50 min race starting at 9 to finish in time for the F1.

depending on numbers I am happy just to fun 2 shorter races to help turning

OK EVERYONE

THIS IS NOT THE FINAL REGS FOR SUNDAY 1ST OF JULY. Just an idea in the making.

TOYOTA 86 NIGHT

Two races with the old and the new.

2 x 45 min races.

First race: Tokyo R246
Car: Toyota SPRINTER TRUENO GT-APEX (AE86) '83 (not Shuichi Shigeno Version)
Race tyres

Second race: Tokyo R246 Reverse
Car: Toyota 86 GT '12
Race tyres

The sprinters power will be pulled back, not sure what to yet, but to make it easier and more fun to drive, and the 86 GT should be fully tuned.

Let me know your thoughts as soon as you can because if many of you arn't interested, we will have to keep looking around the garage. Cheers

Sounds awesome Rowtas, count me in. Oh and keen for the enduro in the GT Velly also.
Cheers,
Jas

i am in, I also have the SPRINTER TRUENO GT-APEX (AE86) '83 if anyones needs it

Ok good to hear you guys are keen, still need to test the cars at tokyo and find out the regs, not final yet as the cars might not like the track. Well the Sprinter is the only worry.

Thanks velly, I also have a few sprinters spare if anyone needs one sended to them, just let us know who is in need of one asap so we can start sending :)

The room became far to glitchy for me to stay in, first of all the room didn't load me to track until about 5s after the countdown, and i couldn't get any grip. One of those glitchy rooms, remember if you have high numbers with mics on the quality of the room drops and i think that worked against me tonight

Sorry I couldn't make it last night, how did the race go?

An update on the 86 night, FOR NOW the sprinter fully run in, with NO turbo or supercharger, will get you 440pp (as long as you didn't ruin the car with a rear wing). I think we should run it at that pp or maybe bolt on a turbo or the supercharger and pull the pp limit back to 450ish, see what you guys think once you try it.

The 86 GT will be 517pp, thats fully run in, max aero, all parts.

Hey Rowts...your missed an exciting race, especially at the start toward the back of the pack, made for a great replay.

Thanks to Velly for pulling this one together 👍, congratulations to Jol on a fine win (just too good mate ) and to Rusty, Rod and Spin for great drives and thanks to everyone taking part and being such good sports.

I don't think any of us got around for the full 25 laps without having a big moment or three. :nervous: This car can be a real handful if your not careful with it, yet very rewarding if you get the balance just right.

cheers guys, it was a great laugh. I think I know every bit of grass and every sand trap on that track! Thank god I didnt add rain too!!!
I saw that delayed start Taital, poor Tanner smashed into and got wiped out lol

here is a video of the opening lap, I started the pile up at Spoon lol
:scared:

Don't they look good.:)
Great to race with you guys...the Races organized here are alot of fun without being overly serious...makes for a good time!:D
I have a quick question for JTV...Since joining the ORS calendar for Season 6, what do you think of the racing so far? Also will you be joining us again for Season 7?
R*

Hahaha thats good taits.

As the sprinter is.....not as nice to drive as the GT 86? lol I was thinking a shorter race for the sprinter (maybe 25 min race?) and a longer one for the GT 86 (around the 1hr 20 min mark)

Let me know if your are keen on this or want a 50/50 spit between the cars and their race lengths?

happy to run 50/50
the sprinter is not running turbo or S/C correct?

these cars are nice, just got abit of understeer at the moment!

Hey Rota, I don't have the Sprinter Trueno. Could I get you too send me one?
I haven't done any testing for the event...but I'm super-keen to get started and test with you boys soon...perhaps tonight?
