Thanks for putting the vid up Velly! V8 Supers at Rome Reverse...that will be excellent!
In the mean time there is plenty of testing to be done for the next round of ORS at Coté de Azur! It will be a wild round with ...dare I say...a number of crashes! I hope evweryone can keep there cool.

Haha, yeah...if someone does that race without gettign damage once...I'll eat my imaginary hat!
I already know what tyres I will quali on!...No stuffing around this time! June 3 is a fair way off yet...so perhaps when we are not testing we could run some Tag races?

I've been a long time reader of the GTPlanet Forums as I've been playing GT right from the very beginning since the original PS1. Man have we come a long way since then.

This is my first registered post to introduce myself as Velly's OzCoMoBro mate and I am really keen to join you guys. From what Velly tells me and from what I read the races that you run look awesome as I'm up for quick clean organised racing.

Velly will testify to this as we have had countless number of races together in our past 3 Ozcomobro Seasons.

Anyway please count me in for the next Enduro and hopefully get a chance to race you all before then to get better aquainted.

lol...if anyone fancys, i am running this same event this sunday in my lounge (psn: velster) only difference is no aero allowed (spoils the look of the car) and will be a shorter race as we want to finish intime for the F1

Lounge will open at 8:30, hopfully racing by 8:45...9pm at the latest. feel free to pop along.

I love these old cars rota, takes a real man to drive something big and heavy (reminds me of our wagon racing, 1500kg min!)

Yeah, all of a sudden, everyone disappeared off the track, and i was the only one racing. So i just exited.

Hey Everyone, with this interest, and the hooligans from OzCoMoBros turning up, we will be running the XR8's for sure, I will jump on GT5 very soon to finalise the specs of the car, but we are looking around the 630pp mark, no turbo. I think run in it reaches this PP, I might even drop it to 620 to allow people to play around with how much aero to power they want to run, I will have regs set in stone by tonight so we can all get testing ASAP.

Look forward to the race boys, please post up your prac times for everyone and average tyre wear so we can all see if we are on or off average pace, im sure me and spin and others will be holding prac rooms throughout the week (even if it does end up being Fiat 500's around Route X, you should get some kind of testing in) hahaha

Hey velster, As we are not running the full 2 hours for this race, and a 1.5 hour race instead, we do not have to start at 8pm on the dot, we can wait til everyone is ready to go, but I don't want to move it back to 8.30 start because It could throw some people out, I being one of them haha I have a very busy week either side of this race, so would'nt want to run it any later than it needs to be, and I know other drivers have very early starts monday morning.

Mate, we will prob end up starting at 8.30ish, its just if i set the time for race start at 8.30, We all know it will stretch out to like an 8.45 start with people p!ssing around and stuff, you will be fine, we will wait for you unless it strikes 8.30

Talked to taital about it before, said he should be right, but not 100% sure yet. I'm happy with that number if everyone rocks up, around Rome, that should create some nice racing.

The cars fully run in with full aero and max power produce 632pp. I believe after some testing with cactass and others that we should just run them at 630pp. This gives you a tiny amount to play with aero and power but nothing that will do much. I was going to make it 625pp so you can play around with the aero and power limit a bit more, but most peoples cars are already set up for a 630pp limit so we are just going to run with it.

So that is : 630pp, with no turbo bolted on. We are going to either run Racing Softs and Racing Mediums OR Racing Mediums and Racing Hards. This will be confirmed soon but for now just test on all racing compounds.

Whatever the 2 compounds chosen are, we will be forcing all drivers to run both compounds in the race. At least one lap on each set. Also the tyre you qualify on is the tyre you start the race on.
