As for the question, I_H8_GWB....I've done all missions aswell, 34 was annoying because of the time you wait at the start line. Apart from that, most of them are pretty easy, just have to do most of the Extremes now, the Endurances (except R246), 1000 miles, JGTC, and Grand Canyon Hard.

And do mention to those Queensland guys that if they ever are down on the Gold Coast to drop me a line for some GT3/C i-link racing (can dust off my ole firewire gear and game disks). Am limited to offline racing with GT4 for now, until i can source some network gear for it.

While I agree with you on the '89GF, the '88 GF wasn't a tragedy, it was a deserved beating of the Tigers by Canterbury that year 24-12.

Back to topic issue: It's great to see so many Aussie's on GTP, maybe we can have our own little GTP comp, not just the TORC comps.

Not many SA people as yet, but from memory 'Gday Mate' is from over that way and he still posts over at the GTX forums too. And Dicknose is a New South Welshman i think.

Beit i-link, LAN, or an offline race, it would be good to see a heap of aussies having some fun with this series. I'd be all for a serious offline series/championship, but it might be good to test the water with a friendly spotty or two at some stage in the future. I'd love to collect another wooden spoon to add to my HUGE collection

Thanks. Most of the rally ones are stock out of the box, just oil change and appropriate tires used, no tuning. The super tourer at Cathedral, well, that was allowed tuning. Hey I could source a network adaptor up here on the Sunshine Coast. Or is it you don't want to pay full price? Hint! Check EB, they often have them for $30. I got 4 a few months ago for $15 each.

G'day The_Machine. Good to see yet another Queenslander 👍 . I've just heard back from dbarrade who used to post a bit over at GT Times and whom i've raced once with my i-link set up. He is a cluey PC bloke and has all the Network gear. I'm just waiting to see if he is keen for some racing and what sort of raceday could be organised. Looking around there could be close to a full grid if everyone is interested in these parts. I'd love to sink my teeth into some GT4 LAN (soooooo many cars and tracks to choose from). Converted our double garage into a playroom for the kids and could easily fit a big tressle table and some TV's into it for a good GT racing set up. Big Air Con unit as well And the BBQ is long overdue to be fired up.

Early days yet, but are any of you QLDers interested if a LAN raceday is organised?
