Also a heads up, there is a maintenance on Tuesday and Wednesday at 12am so we can expect an update but that is not certain however if the recent run of things continues it may just happen

-------------------Australian GT Series Round 8 Laguna Seca--------------------
-------------------------------------------------------Race Report--------------------------------------------------------

Here we are today at Salinas in California USA for round 8 of the Australian GT Series
And with qualifying done Greasy takes top spot from Nasanu with Flash in 3rd
With the New division of GT Cup starting at this race Wonder beat Moto
To claim pole in the Subaru in the lower division

As Greasy got the drivers on their way with Nasanu right behind him
Flash and Lion was side by side coming into Andretti Hairpin
As Soks held off Dave even going two wide through turn 3
Sadly Wonder's connection went bad and he got kick from the room
leaving Moto to race by himself in the lower class

As the drivers went through turn 6 on to the Rahal Straight Greasy ran he's BMW wide
Letting Nasanu Flash and Lion By but keeping it off the wall
As Moto went off at turn 5 but with no one worry about he got on he's way again

As Greasy caught back up to Lion as Nasanu started to open up a gap to Flash
Later Lion let Greasy get by him coming to the Corkscrew
Then a couple of laps after that Flash lost it coming onto the Rahal straight
As Moto park it up after turn 5 but got going again 2 laps later

As Greasy started to close the gap to Nasanu in he's Audi
While Soks was not letting Lion out of his sight
As Flash got by Dave coming into Rainey curve moving back up to 5th now
Sadly Moto park it up again but this time calling it a day

As Nasanu's mirrors started to get full of Greasy in his BMW for several laps
Nasanu decided to dive into pits for a early stop letting all the drivers get by him
then several laps later Greasy Lion and Flash all came in for their stops
As Soks took the lead for the first time today

As Flash got by Dave again as Dave was trying for a one stop strategy and suffering from tire wear
Soks dive into pits from the lead and falling back behind Lion in 3rd
As Greasy started to hunt down Nasanu again

As Greasy was all over the back of Nasanu in no time what so ever
Showing that the BMW was far more superior in to corners over the Audi
But with the power advantage the Audi had Nasanu could breakaway from Greasy down the straights

All of a sudden Nasanu lost he's Audi coming out of Andretti Hairpin
And with no were to go Greasy went straight up the back of him
As Nasanu got back on to the track and resulting in both drivers taking damage
As both Nasanu and Greasy pitted Lion and Flash got by to take the lead from they
As both Nasanu and Greasy exit pits Soks manage split the two for now

Until Greasy Got by Soks an Lap Later moving him back up to 4th now
As Soks was trying to keep up with Greasy he lost it coming around turn 5
while several laps later Nasanu change his strategy coming into pits again

As Flash dive into he's pit box as schedule letting Greasy by him
Lion would do the same only a lap later giving Greasy the lead
As he too would need to stop again and soon
Giving Lion and Flash back their position

With Greasy now on fresh tires he caught back up to Flash in no time what so ever
But Flash wasn't Making it easy for Greasy to pass him driving defensiveness
Until Flash lost it coming out of turn 4 and getting damage from incident
Much to Greasy's relief now he could set his sights on catching back up to Lion
As Dave's day went from bad to worse having several off during the race

As Lion made his last pit stop for the race as Greasy go by to takes the lead
to only pit himself couple of laps later giving back the lead to Lion
With only 13mins left to run Greasy begin to hunt down Lion
Needed to close the gap down by over a second a lap being 13sec behind

As Greasy started to close the gap to Lion posting some really fast lap times
As even Lion could feel Greasy breathing down his neck with minutes to spare
while Dave was doing a little bit of grounds keeping around the track

With only a lap to run to the chequered flag
Lion needing to start driving defensively
And almost losing it coming out of Andretti Hairpin
As Greasy keep it right on Lion's tail

As Lion takes the chequered flag with Greasy right behind him
Only 0.503 of a second off making it the closest race So far this season
And Flash coming in 3rd 25 second of the leads

Congratulation to Lion on a well deserve victory and race
Well done to Greasy for posting the fastest lap time of the day at a time of 1:18.292
Good work to all the Drivers for fun and exciting race
See you all on the 20/8 in the Capital of Spain for are first and only street race at Madrid (Reverse)

Well as this series closes in on it's final round, I've been doing alot of testing for a new series I'm looking to start. Not alot is guaranteed yet but by next week I should have everything finished up so I can at least give anyone interested an idea on what's gonna happen. I'm aiming to make the competition close and fair for both DS3 and wheel users.
