Hey guys, I'm interested in joining the series. I would like to drive the Nissan GT-R GT3 Schulze but I could run the base model as well(doesn't matter to me). However, I won't be able to attend a race till Round 5.

at that rate, after 41 laps I'll be 2 laps down :)

Ive not been able to turn laps since I did the testing to calculate the lap count, My recollection could be as bad as my driving,

I will be pushing to be home in time even at 10:30. I may join the room and watch the race when i get home.

Just a quick question, im assuming no mods are allowed? or do we mod and then bring the hp down with the power limiter? I'm in the sls

you can mod if you like, given that ive not seen any performance gain from the cars once you apply the power limiter,

Don't forget cache clearing lads 👍

good point.

lobby will be up shortly, experiencing the common GT6 system crash issues the moment I went to enter the game. Going through a full restoring reset at the moment,

GT6 has common crash issues?

Who'da thunk it :sly:

A bad blow for tonight's race at the starting grid I had a slow get away then crashed twice couldn't get to the pits stop as i had to much damage the second time oh well next time ill be better.

Official results Round 1, Monza
Pole winner, Greasy07
1st, TheFlash05
2nd, Greasy07
3rd, Heathenpride
4th, TDZdave
5th, Nosoks
6th, ItzRacing
7th, Lion-Face
8th, Motocross-09

Stewarding report,
Thankfully there is only three issues to be resolved from the race,

+) Collision on Pace lap 2, Nosoks and Lion-Face, There will be no penalty for this due to a number of variables, Some of which have been overlooked on my behalf and others outside of our control, connectivity etc, Now Nosoks got away without any damage, But it needs to be reminded that you must keep your distance during these laps, Now I feel that this was most likely due to confusion regarding the actual starting positions on track, this will be addressed further down this page,

+) Use of Text box during qualifying and racing, This is prohibited, only I will use it to convey messages to you all as a group, If you have taken damage in the warm up lap, pull off the circuit, apply hand brake and hit pause, this will ghost your car, type DAMAGE in capitals and the following cars will go past you,

+) PD sort your S***, I sincerely apologize for my technical difficulties I was suffering from before the event, My system had crashed twice before getting the lobby up and I was going to clarify the starting procedure etc via my headset, but for some reason that failed also, Yet voice chat was set to high, Because of this we were delayed slightly and it made for a later night then planned, thank you to our friendly fellows from across the pond who hung in there and participated,

Housekeeping
+) Changes to start procedure, Given the confusion of the final turn whilst trying tolso grid up, From now on at every circuit the grid will always be odd positions to the left, evens to the right, 90% of the grids on GT6 are set out this way, And this should stop all the confusion,

+) Qualifying, From here on in the games qualifying program will be used, If you are tardy we will adjust things on the fly, however if the race is more then 2 laps in there will be no restart, unless there is a DC,

Finally
Great racing guys, keep it up, you all did really well, specially Greasy whom I think was flying a little blind on the start procedure but got it done correct and we got away with minimal issue, no silly wrecks in turn 1, everyone gave space when needed, No one abused the corners and when they did cut it was because they were having an issue all alone and therefore there was no gain from it, I fell over a bunch of times, it was great, hanging out for round 2, Drivers Briefing for Silverstone to follow this shortly,

Also, Given the small field we have at the moment, (hoping it will grow) I am thinking of changing the restart policy to anyone who DC's from the race will be given the chance to rejoin, Is everyone ok with this?

Round 2
Silverstone GP
Drivers Briefing

Follow on from Round 1, Monza
+) As you are all aware there has been a slight tweak to the start procedure given the confusion of trying to grid up for Monza, This will be in place for round 2,

Drivers brief

1d96e562-97bf-48b8-9743-b47885d6e230_zpsf77085bf.png

Circuit: Silverstone GP
Laps: 36 (Includes both pace laps,

Circuit time: 1400
Weather: Dry/ Fixed

+) For this circuit we will do something different with the start, As this circuit has the old GP start grid we will start the race there on the second pace lap, so we will do pace lap number one, pit for tires, then roll at 100kph the leader will slow to 80kph exiting Luffield corner allowing the field to grid up, odds on the left, evens on the right, Then Jump on the National pit start straight, The track map above has the turn names listed in the right spots if you do not know them,

+) Corner exits, There aren't really any corners to cut here that are actually worth while attempting to do so, But there is time to be gained so these will be broken down,
Turn 9/ Copse Corner, Turn 15/ Stowe Corner, Turn 18/ Club corner, Will be monitored, If you gain a place by running wide in these corners it must be conceded back, If you intentionally run wide there due to someone on your inside running 2 wide, that is fine, providing that you do not gain position, or advantage, It will be clear or not if you have made a gain by running wide there so please be attentive and honest,

+) Pit entry, There is no pit line for pit entry here, BUT! there is a commitment cone, and a slip road for the pit entry, If you are pitting in, you must be prepared for the commitment cone, as cutting across the grass will result in a pit line penalty violation, Pit exit, there is a pit line, rule stands,

Last night was a great race, good to start with a win.

Two questions @TDZdave , and one has sort of already been addressed.

#1 When you typed in qualifying over, and the timer starts for the race, do we still have until the timer runs out to complete the flying lap we are committed too? I don't think Heathenpride was happy that with 10secs remaining I completed my lap and dropped him to third. This may be now addressed with the proper qualifying program used?

#2 Is round two scheduled to start next week i.e. the 7/05/14 or is it still a fortnightly gap between races and it will be on 14/05/14? If so there may be a scheduling conflict with the final round of a separate championship that Lion, Greasy & myself are still competing in. Once this championship is done I hope to bring a few more drivers over to race with us.

Other than that I think it all went well and cant wait for round two..

I wasn't unhappy Flash, there wasn't a direct ruling on it prior so just need clarification 👍

The qual function will take care of it in future :)

#1, Given the technical issues I was suffering from last night I should have been able to cover everything vocally but it required typing, The only reason I went with that qualifying procedure was we were waiting on Racefan88, given time differences there is generally some confusion, personal clocks delayed, etc, But yes moving forward The proper procedure will be used, I will let it slide this time, due to the technical difficulties Heathen understands,

#2, Yes its fortnightly, Thanks for picking that up, I will have to sort that straight away,

GUYS!, Next round is Silverstone, on Wednesday 14/5/14

The Dated tablets on the OP are incorrect, Apologies,

At the end of hard qualifier Greasy takes pole position with flash close 2nd

The line up wasn't straight but who's perfect anyway

As Greasy gets off the line flash trails behind with Dave an heat fighting for 3rd

bit of a weird place for a pit stop????????????????? someone should be penalize for that PD

Autodromo Nazionale Monza5.jpg

Dave gets Heat in to the first corner where Lion an Nos are back in the pack fighting with damage that they got through the warm up lap

As Greasy an Flash started to run away from the pack
Autodromo Nazionale Monza7.jpg

Dave started to do the same as he try to keep up with the BMW's

Dave sometimes pushing it a bit to much in places which made him lose time that he work so hard for
Autodromo Nazionale Monza10.jpg

As It'z Nos an Lion battling it out for 5th place

Autodromo Nazionale Monza21.jpg

Sadly that was the last we saw of Lion after the gremlins of GT6 taking the first and only victim which at that time was holding the fastest lap at a 1.45:602 an looking good to taking 2nd place from Greasy

Dave once again having another mishap into corner one as It'z was coming out of pit lane sadly Dave ended up with damage from this incident
Autodromo Nazionale Monza23.jpg

As Greasy was catching up to Heat an taking him into corner one which seem like a hotspot for overtaking after drafting down the long straight of monza which put him up to 2nd with 7 laps to run

As Flash want over the finish line in first place in front of Greasy by 10 seconds making it BMW 1 an 2
