Auto-x and Gymkhana tracks

I think a good feature for GT4 would be editable Auto-x and Gymkhana courses. Like you start with a empty lot and place cones where you'd like. Or maybe a preset section of cones to make turns easier. I'd really like to see this type of feature in GT4. Hopefully it's on of the features they're considering but haven't mentioned.
This would be great for drifting because it allows us to design unlimited amounts of courses and can improve our skills. Plus it would be fun to have little drift sessions or team practices online on a custom course.
So how many votes does this feature get? Maybe we can email this post to Polyphony to encourage them to add the feature.

Auto-X is a huge part of racing too, and a good developer of racing skills.

yeah, I'd love to be able to create Auto-X tracks in GT4..that'd be awesome for drifting and racing.

what's Gymkhana? I've never heard that term used before.

Gymkhana is basically the Japanese version of auto-x. It's the same concept, cones in an empty lot. The courses are setup differently though. Like there would be arrows drawn on the pavement indicating which way to go. So there's fewer cones and they don't actually outline a track. Drifting is a large part of Gymkhana events. It's essential for good times.

Great idea! I know they are planning to include some of the drift circuit courses like Tsukuba and so forth, so that will be a step in the right direction at least.

They also need to include the ability to have 'holographic' cones (in other words you just go right through them). Otherwise the course would get all messed up after a few laps.

They would also be good for online competitions, that way nobody knows the course, it's 100% skill.

Wow so true, too bad my ps2 wont wanna go online with my cable modem, it only goes on with dial up, so even though i have socom i cant play it...im sure gt4 will be a broadband only game..ARGHHHHHHHH!!!!

As you can see it's a fairly small parking lot in this case, which isn't too uncommon. To put it into perspective:

Since that's not my video it won't be there very long. I'll remove the link from here right before I delete the file.
