Just did a bowling event again in World Tour. I dig it. I like shaking things up.
I bet the Neon in the game runs quite well.
On a side note you need to come out onto Grattan Raceway with me sometime with your real life Neon. Get out of the autocross and onto a full track with multiple laps. You get the ENTIRE track all day long 12 turns and huge elevation changes plus lap after lap. I can hit close to 130 mph on the straight in 5th gear in my 69 Camaro. Then I dump it to 3rd gear and run all 12 turns. Plus you only have to pay for the car. Everyone else rides or drives for free all day! 👍
I look forward to seeing you there. Grattan is a blast. As long as the car is finished, which I can't imagine it won't be, I'll be there.
And yes the SRT-4 in the game is awesome. I've also found the CRX with suspension upgrades is just about as good. I still haven't found a RWD that I like yet though and I don't think I've even dabbled with AWD.
Bowling is indeed "fun". Autocross is fun in a challenging way. If I had to choose one over the other, Autocross no question.
I picked bowling because it manages to feel less repetitive when it really isn't, and shouldn't be. The autocross layouts all feel the same, to the point that I honestly cannot tell whether there's more than one layout per track, or if the online layouts are any different. I've actually spent more time in autocross events than bowling; it's more my style of play and the gated zig-zagging is still a worthwhile challenge. But to read "autocross" in the features list and then be given this...definitely disappointing.
The vinyl editor shows what T10 could do with cone/barrier/object placement, and Live for Speed's online community (still kicking after 8 years) shows how much replay value a layout editor adds to a racing game.
I look forward to seeing you there. Grattan is a blast.
If you want a really fun in game RWD car check out the Lexus LFA. After some minor upgrades that car is very fun.
