I haven't been using turbo's. I wonder if they provide any gain.

That makes 2 of us. The Xanavi Z makes 700 foot pounds of torque with turbo 2. I figured that with out the turbo I would get some tire wear back in my pocket.

My best so far was 1:54.197, but my lap times drop by 2 seconds within 10 laps and almost by 3 seconds after that.
This track chews the front tyres very quickly... don't know if a 2-stop strategy will be beneficial...
 
1:55.8 for me with ballast. Tires last about 11 or 12 laps. IRL SGT just had a test at Suzuka. Best times? 1:51's! GT5 is slow compared to real GT500. Their race times are in the 53s with their success ballast. In preseason testing, the #100 Raybrig HSV turned a 1:49 :drool: That's 2 seconds faster than the Audi R8 LMP1 car from 2002's endurance race there.

Whats this years hp limit?
 
I think they're around 520-540hp, but they're also not making as much downforce as a few years ago with the loss of the front diveplanes. I know at Fuji F, they were doing 285-290kmh in the speed traps. The Audi R18 was doing ~305kmh in last year's WEC race.

Wow 290k. F1's in 2009 were topping out at 320k's maybe? Not that far off...
 
They're faster than lmp2 cars. 1:33-1:34 race pace. LMP1 was 1:29-1:31. 1:31.0 was Nakajima's pole lap earlier this year.

Your argument is invalid, because the race starts after midnight, so in that case it will be my bday :sly:

the race date is the 3rd not the 4th and if goe by joes time zone its third and reg check starts before the midnight so thats the 3rd the race to setup the grid also goes happens before midnight the only reason for the race not starting early is some one is normally late

Thers is missing in action, and I'm not sure about Plc joining us again also. I will make the adjustments on the main page. The consistent drivers are here and part of the 8 or 9 driver grid especially even more when good "O" Phil joins again so. :) only thing that sucks is most of you guys are front runners so not many mid packers to fight with into you guys success ballast kicks in. Me, Will, and Tyson for top honors of the mid pack. Top 5's & Podiums! đź‘Ť I do got that good feeling we will be seeing a sign up more or 2 judging what's available on the planet at the moment. 8 drivers is good to go for me and keeps a fight as long as you don't spin out, then you'll be all alone. Blah, blah, blah'
