But I still don't understand why we haven't done rolling start :/

It was voted to ditch rolling start for standing start.

Also rolling start had a lot if incidents and created a huge bottle neck. Back of the field would often crash into the mid pack at the start line.

False start check has only not worked correctly for everybody this round. It probably wasn't helped by the late room switch, as normally rooms are up a good 2hrs before race start so all lag/juddering is out of the system.

I went off at least 3 times , id build a 10 second lead then lose about 7 seconds with a off .

I only went off once, in the Straight before 130R (if the spin at T1 doesn't count :P)

Went off twice at 130R losing 1s each time, and once at end of esses only losing 1s. I was real lucky lol.

Yeah you 3 at front were unfortunate to clobber into each other

I have an question:

The HSV has a spec weight of 1160kg, which means it can only take a maximum of 140kg of success ballast... given this does that mean that every other car has this same limit, regardless of it having the possibility of carrying more than that?

I hope so, as otherwise it's unfair for everyone not racing a HSV...

Last night was the only one but joe should give me birthday points

Would love too if it wasn't for it being unfair to all other drivers. On a good note Tyson and PD are going to send you a car for your birthday! 👍

Looked at the replay so many ppl made mistakes , was a disaster race

Yea I'm titling Suzuka as the anything can happen race track. I was about to ask was there anyone who didn't make a mistake?!

We did rolling starts for 3 seasons of GT300 racing. Everything in this series is now voted in by the drivers. Next season you can part take on the voting for how we run the next season.

This is true and as of now max ballast is 140kg, but if the Hsv still takes wins or podiums with full ballast the. There is a good chance the Hsv will be banned for season 2. The success ballast in this series does well equalizing the field and with 15 rounds of racing to go there are a ton of races that are raced with every driver having a chance a wins and podiums.

Max ballast is 140kg because of the HSV.

But drivers will still accumulate ballast in results. So if you have 140kg and finish first, gaining 40kg, you will be listed as having 180kg ballast, but you only use the 140kg ballast.

This is done because if you're still gaining ballast with max ballast you're a damn good driver. And 1 poor result shouldn't knock you back down the ballast table to say 100kg

I'm at magic mountain so soon as I get home I will update the op with points and the new revised track list. On that note we still need Yeratel to tell us which tire compounds we will be using for the Fuji F Rd? Only 1 tire step compound difference is available Yeratel. The 2 step was voted out!

Yeah, I did receive my 1984 car ticket after I left the race lobby... :sly:👍

Shame, I was considering a RS/RH race at Fuji... in that case I might be inclined for RS/RM, but it all depends on total race distance...

I wanted to run Motegi (my choice) with RS Front RM Rear tires. The staggered setup imo evens tire wear.

I understood it wrong then... obviously what I meant by RS/RH was full set of RS and 8 flying laps with full set of RH...

I haven't enduro raced Fuji yet but with its high rate of speed and lap times of 1:30's I'm figuring this race will be 250km. 300km might be possible here at 1.5hr but I will have to check old replay's to confirm. As of now we will put it down at 250km. Le Mans, Spa, and Monza will be all at 300km, while Fuji and Suzuka weighing in at 250km. In the future if we don't like Nurburg GP/D then Nurburg GP/F would also be at 250km. Everything else is at 200km except Mazda & Monaco weighing in less then 200km to complete within 1.5 hr. I believe Monaco at 125km is pushing 1 hr and 45 mins to complete. Oval tracks Daytona & Indy will be 500km in distance. This has already been tested too'

*Op Updated!!!*

Saw your message Wilfred, no idea I just left my PS3 on and totally forgot to switch it off. Will be racing after Aug 21 only.

Will we just added the Fuji round mid season instead of to the end.

It was intended :P
