I wish I could get into this but it runs exactly at the same time as the GT300 Endurance series... I think two series is the most I can do without putting too much stress on my hand and as I've lost my Ford in GT3, Season 2 of this may work well

having a standing start create an extra challenge at the moment i have a very long 1st and 2nd gear so 3 4 5 6 can be shorter but having to setup for a launch as well is fun.
you have to decide whether you gear the first few gears for acceleration knowing you might gain a place or two or do you keep it like it is to keep short gears

can we also do a nissan Vs honda table Vs lexus/toyota might encourage more teamwork within manufacturer groups

We are doing a manufacturers championship for the 10rd series

That's sad to hear but the only clash is the SSR5 track.

If you get time to join us you're more than welcome

What's this about Endurance GT300? Especially if its once a month I'm intreseted in that. I agree with you I don't like to do more than 2 series at a time before my performance goes of the cliff. Its hard enough stewarding and finding pace in the same week but I'm gettin better at it. I've been getting top 5's my last 3 races so ill see if I can keep this going with also not slacking on op managing at the same time.

Is it rolling starts for this series ? Sorry guys im bad at reading ops

Of course you know now standing starts it is.

it is I would love a standing start in joes series one day

Well that makes 2 of us then. I actually don't like rolling starts, but because of GT300 having a Awd car on grid and possible collsions cough*whatever*cough it was voted out, but may I add there are no Awd's on grid now and incidents are down %80 percent so (zach's going to kill me)I'm open to it. I actually know a bonafied way to do standing starts with out PD screwing up the Q order!

Yeh we need to be doing standing starts with false check

^---- This is how I would do it!

What about a pace lap first then back man says go and we go at the next minute as it will stop the black screen problem
However if a series like blanc pain does rollin you do rolling
I think gt does standing starts

Just do the regular false starts , see how it plays out in the mini series and then see if it should be used in the main series .

If it black screens then we restart .

If you standing start then everyone has to line up before race start at T1.

Tbh I was gonna suggest double file rolling start but if you want standing start by all means try it

^---- This works but the more guaranteed way is to pace around in rev grid order finish 1 lap with the event settings set to rev grid and GT5 will do the rest without any possible mistakes except for possible black screen! 👍 I suggest we try to start 15 mins earlier in case of any confusion on the 1st round out.

Has anyone got any ideas on how to improve the series? Pm both Joe and myself with them

Would like to know what the car situation is? I'll test both cars (HSV NSX) and run what needs to be run I guess.

You can use any car that less than 2 people have signed up to.

Unless anyone has specifically said they are withdrawing, or are missing a round, then they stay registered for that car until round 2

I thought we could use any car for the mini series but then have to choose a car for the 10 rd series .

I planned on using a diff car each race of the mini series .

Id like to know what the situation with the hsv is.

You can provided 2 drivers aren't driving that car already

Tyler is selling his game so i assume he has pulled out. I remember Joe saying Cam has first priority for the HSV. Roscko is still signed up, so it's taken for the first round

Hi, nice series, but its impossible for me at Saturday, i have a group of friends and we are going to do a league like this one on Sunday, so may i ask how can you verify if one pilot got engine stage 2 or 3?
Are the different ratios bhp vs weight that you are using good for a GT500?
All the cars could get the same time, or will always be one better?

Thanks and have a good series.

Sorry for the OT ;)

The redline changes with engine upgrades, so long as a steward knows where the default redline is all is good :)

Shame you can race with us

Thanks for the quick reply.

Its wife's day, after a week of work, i got the Sundays, not bad.

This is a points paying pre season so the more cars you try the better data we will have for the main series. Feel free to try a different cars through out the mini series because we are not doing car hopping this time around for the main series again.

Phil Bell plz clear your pm's so I can send you this vital pm message plz'

Yeah. I think short tracks might be an HSV strength with the handling. High speed tracks with long straights it will fall back. Plus with success ballast, it won't be going on a streak. I like its nuetral handling best, almost like the GTR but a lil more responsive but not as good on the straight.

Just so you guys know, we won't be changing the specs, if needed, until after the 4 round series.

I'm going to miss this first race so the hsv moves on down the line I guess. And I will most likely use my xavi nismo gtr at daytona

I can q you if need be but lemme shower first super tired :P

Edit: Since Wilfred can go on Im gonna sleep
