Made that last stop just for that reason (fastest lap)

Reckon i could go faster too couldnt really nail a perfect lap .

The championship is still wide open , Seth has a shot with Zach missing the next race and me missing Le Mans possibly .

What tires for Fuji ? Id like to see soft and hard combined .

Yeah with us both missing a round if Seth shows to every round it could well be his

All you guys with the 1250kg will still beat the mid pack, and will be competiting with each other with the same kg to the end. I thinks is a roll,of the dice who will win in the end?!

I hit Yeratel on the pm, but for now I guess drivers can run on meds since no matter what that tire will meet the pavement here at Fuji regardless of tire choice. The race distance can and will be either 250km or 300km here at Fuji, but I'm not completely sure until I run it tomorrow afternoon. Fuji has a hi rate of avg speed so I wouldn't be surprise if 300km's of racing could be completed here with 1.5hrs target time!

Look for average times of high 1:37's if you're doing mediums. At that pace, the race would be around 105 minutes for 300km.

If the Supra understeered more on RM than RH, then the RH RM tire choice is great for me. Will probably push worse on softs.

Looks like we will have to run 250km

Op partially update, I haven't had access to the acrobat pro lately. I will be posting up the updated points tables today! 👍

*Also here are the before and after track list to finish out our 1st season of Autobacs. All schedule races are the same except for the final round at Le Mans. I could of kept it within the normal schedule time line, but we would of lost 1 week of practice for the season finale at Le Mans. If there are any objections to the new revised track list calender please let me know and we can re work the schedule to best suit all drivers. As of know Grand Valley is and was Rd 10 to limit confusion, and the Rome round now has a new round # as you can see from the pics below. Sorry for the mass confusion that took place, and like I always say things go wrong once, but we don't make the same mistakes twice!!!!

Have you had a look at the description for the Supra you're running? It's a mix of 2004 and 2005 cars. They (yellowhat team) didn't get the full 2005 spec Supra. They also run dunlop tires, which aren't on the level of the bridgestone. The car in game is not on the level the newer ones are, but it is fast on the straights.

In the old calendar there wasn't a week off before Le Mans to start with... with that extra week before Le Mans, I won't be able to race on that weekend...

That is what I feel too, and good info thanks 👍

Something with your setups or driving style phil but you always have very good front tire wear .

It could be that your a bit slower in your opening laps but I think it is more your driving style/ setup.

I noticed it before at a laguna seca race u won .

If I had to guess, they probably complement each other. I always complain about understeer so I like a pointy car.

Because of that I usually turn in in quite gently if not the rear end flies away fast. My Supra now has -.70 rear toe and setting 6 on rear bar.

Nearing the end of stints I still can't match the braking and traction of the GTR but my turn in speed seems stronger courtesy of the front tire.

With respect to my pace in opening laps, it's probably just questionable judgement on cold tires

Ever since that tire wear update, the rears definitely go faster than the front tires (for me at least). Theres a couple exceptions in terms of tracks and cars though. The Supra is one of them. I think cars with more front weight bias have better tire wear in terms of evenness. The Panoz Esperante gtr-1 is another, 54/46 for that while the Supra is 52/48.

BTW, fresh said that his best so far is 1:37.7 but didn't say what tires.

Overall that was a typo then. We have always had a 1 wk break before the final round at Le Mans for the past 3 seasons. Well I can find tune it but we will have to eliminate anymore of the 1 wk breaks to fit it in then. If there are no objections then I will proceed to do so?

Edit: So the Le Mans round will officially be Nov 9th in stead of Nov 12th without the 1 week tune break! 👍

I'm unsure if I'm going to make the new rome date

The new Rome date was the old Daytona date. Do you need a compromise too?

Ok guys so this Fuji race @ 300km can be completed under 1.5 hr race distance. If drivers want to see confirmation without driving the full 300km race distance, set the room to 10 laps on RM's, and if you run a slow time with a slow avg lap time of 1.40 to 1.41 range you should be able to complete the 10 laps just under 15 mins' 👍

New race distance for Fuji F is 58 Laps in distance.

Thats a little too much imo. I wouldn't be surprised to see people drop because of time constraints. 👍

It's just a little tight time wise that's all Joe. But rome is a fast race so provided we start on time it shouldn't be an issue

Doing a little math, Fuji is 4.56km in length. In order to do a 300km race we would need to run 66 laps. At an average of 1:37 (97 seconds) per lap it would take 106-107 minutes to run. If it were a 250km race it would come to be 55 laps. At an average of 1:37 that would take 88-89 minutes to run. Keep in mind this is without pit stops and tire drop off.

We going to re run it Sunday and determine then if that's the case. Look down 2nd statement pertains to you too!

Practice session this Saturday at race time?

Can't tomorrow I'm taking my girl out on a night of the town around that time, but TnT & I are going to re run Fuji 300km with proper pit stradegies this time but meds only to slow us down to a worse case scenario to get the Fuji distance right. All of you guys are game to join if you guys like. It will be good on track practice session leading up to the official round. Seth join if you can too, bring friends if you want all practice is good practice in my book! 👍

Im going off experience in 90's FIA doing Fuji. The races are based off 1 hour 30 minute time limits instead of distance. They ran 55 laps and finished the race in 1 hour 28 minutes with cars capable of 1:30 lap times. They did 33 laps on mediums and 22 on softs. But the pace on mediums is still 3 seconds faster than these cars. 👍

Good morning to you all. Hope ya had a good weekend off. Now it's time practice hard. Hope to see you all at the race on Saturday :)

New race distance for Fuji F is officially 52 Laps in distance which also equates to a little less than 250km.

I'm interested in racing on Saturday. I'll do some testing and pick my car later if there's still room.
