Personally I think the HSV is still the fastest at 1140kg. That car is unreal in the corners.

The HSV needs to be marginally quicker in the corners to counter the lacking it has on the straight. Just ask cam about silverstone tonight lol. I couldn't keep up on the straights. But with the corners I could at least stay in the draft.

Same at nurb. He would destroy me on that short straight before the chicane. And that would be enough for him to prevent me overtaking him.

You can be as fast as you like in the corners, but unless you have straight line speed you ain't going to be able to overtake anyone.

Another good example would be our previous gt300 series. Skeng remember that Suzuka race? With you in the celica and me in the rx7. You were way faster in the corners. But because of the straight I could stay ahead of you/overtake you

Ya the hsv did look slow on straits. With skeng too I could creep up to him but then he would be out after a corner. Lets just leave the regs and get rolling.
Also joe said he would be karting this week I don't think his commitment is in question.

You guys can do the the last round with us @ Bathurst are start preparing early for the 1st round of Autobacs. I've missed the last 2 rounds but I will be at the final test round @ Bathurst I could use the free practice!, I've got 2 races coming up there in the near future.

Celica was a lovely car but it really could of done with more hp

Seth says sorry for the contact. There was some jumpiness, probably some lag and it was tough to judge where other cars were. I suggest running "friends only" room settings and "fixed host" if possible. Someone with reliable fast internet should be the host.

The problem with fixed host is if host dcs we all dc .

Its too big a risk i think.

The problem is the way how pd connects us. Everybody has to connect to everybody. And 1 bad connection causes lag.

The room was fine for the 2hrs prior to race start. And was fine in a practice race 30min before race start.

My best advice would be join the room early. Not like 5min before we start. That gives you time to fix things if your connection is bad/gives time for your connection to settle

Also, remember we are now running high race quality. If lag continues then we can just reduce it to standard

With a fixed host, the room runs off that person's connection. Thats why I suggested someone with fast reliable internet.

I have fibre optic 35mb connection. I still can't be certain flukes won't happen. Blown fuse and boom there goes the race lobby lol

We did a tire combo poll for FIA GT, but we can use that 1 to make things simple. I'm on the road now so I can't do extreme functions until I get home but I will post everything up as soon as I get home so everyone has clarity on what is going on here.
