I really, really want a GMC Motorhome. These things were actually well engineered (not that it matters, its a motorhome) and are most famous for appearing in Stripes and Twister. I don't care how many odd looks I'd get for using one as a summer daily. I would do it anyway. I'd also have no issues living in it.

I suppose if you could fit a Playstation and a TV in it :)
You wouldn't mind squeezing that thing into tight spaces?

I'm lucky. I live in an area with open roads, so that isn't that big of an issue. You're right about the TV and PS3, too. I could eat, sleep, game, move when someone complains about me, and repeat.

They were. Earlier ones had the 455 Olds, and the later ones were 403 powered. The chassis itself was built specially for the motorhome, but the drivetrain itself was indeed from the Toronado.

The GMC motorhomes also had a drag coefficient of .31, better than a Corvette in 1973.

They got around ~10mpg, about the same as a new motorhome of similar size.

I agree with this guy, the Today is just so darn cute it's impossible to call it guilty. I mean, you can store a mini Honda bike in the trunk of this! That is nothing short of awesome, I dare say. Also, it made for a fine cop car. You can't argue with that, man...
Freakin' You're Under Arrest

Agreed, the car is cute as hell, I call my Today G in GT6 "The Little Panda".
Many small cars that I like become a guilty pleasure from where I live namely because the people there think that I'm stupid for wanting to drive tiny cars.

Nothing wrong with wanting a kei car.

They just don't know, or appreciate the wonders of what they can do.

Don't forget about Patlabor, I'm sure they used one of those in that show too.

And well, I guess people in America pretty much go by the mentality that says "if it's not 6-foot wide and doesn't guzzle fuel like a drunk guy guzzles a can of Budweiser, it's not worth it", really. And of course, the kei-car regulations do pose a few problems when you want to own one out of Japan; very small engines, rarity of parts and such.

But a kei-car does wonders indeed, when it comes to space management, variety... There's a kei for every person who's willing to buy one. And I love that sort of variety; there's a reason why I adore cars like the Autozam AZ-1, or the Daihatsu Copen.

Absolutely no guilt in this, these are the most awesome vehicles ever created.

I have a bit of an affinity for the old, 70s-80s Mercedes diesels. Not quick but they last for ages and can even be converted to run on vegetable oil. Here's a 300D.

As for a couple cars listed way back on page one:
- I once owned a Ford Pinto. It was my first car with a manual and was bought from my cousin at a very low price (about what many of us now spend on gas in a month or two). It was awful but ridiculously fun, and no one tailgated me. Even letting it roll back a little on a hill to see the faces of the people in the car behind was twistedly fun.
- I once rented a PT Cruiser for a Cleveland-Indianapolis round trip. At first it seemed decent but after a few hours I didn't care for it, and towards the end of the return trip I couldn't wait to get out of it. It had become painful at that point. To make matters worse I got a speeding ticket in the thing. Yeah, the only speeding ticket I've gotten in at least 10 years was in a PT Cruiser.

Usually I would provide some sort of an explanation, but I really can't explain why I like the Smart. I had a toy car of one as a kid, though, and it was always fun to see one parked the wrong way on the side of a street, so I guess that's why.

Thread bump since I saw one on my way to work.

Always loved the 90's Town Cars.

Especially in black.

Please Don't kill me please...

Pontiac Fiero (my uncle owned one back then and I sat inside of it when I was young)

Suzuki Cappuccino (I'm pretty sure that a lot of you love this one but I feel some thinks otherwise such as Kei haters)

Honda Beat (same thing with above)

Pontiac Trans Am (people who don't like GM or hates 'murican cars will hate it)

Ford LTD 1985 (same as above but for those who hate ford instead of GM)

Mazda 6 and Ford Fusion (I just like the modern design of both these cars)

Toyota Camry 2016 (or 2015, same story)

Mercedes Benz Konpressor

Holden Commodre SS (same story with 'murican cars except some aussie ford fan (boys) will think this is bad and Falcon is better).

Not guilty at all.

I adore pretty much any Kei car, and the Mazda 6 looks great. Especially in this red

Nissan Almera Tino

Better to quote you on this in the appropriate thread. But the Tino is one model I've always been meaning to bring up here. Often overshadowed and under-appreciated compared to the almost identical Phase 2 Scenic (as well as other EU rivals) when it seemed like one would get more bang for their buck with the Nissan back in the day. Cost and reliability were firmly in the Tino's favour when pitted against its French counterpart.

On a style scale from 1 to 10 (1 = Scenic, 10 = Tacuma), this would sit somewhere in the middle. Not ridiculously bland. Not incredibly tasteless.

2003-04_Toyota_Corolla.jpg

2003-2004 Toyota Corolla. Has a much nicer front end than the facelifted '05-'07 'Rolla IMO. It's surprisingly zippy on the twisty back roads too, having once owned a '03 model myself.

Z8 :)
Honda CRX Mugen
Mazda2
Ferrari F355
Ferrari 512BB
LCC RoJ1cket
S15 Silvia
I kinda like the Chery J1 just because its only ten grand new.
