I have a soft spot for big, floppy 'Murican boats. :)

On the other hand, I'd never realised just how much the first gen SCoupe looked like a 2-door copy of the Granada/Merkur Scorpio.

Relevant anecdote: last year I was visiting some family in New York, and the car I had the most access to was this '07 Cobalt sedan. This particular Cobalt had around 190,000 miles, a couple of previous accidents and some neglected maintenance (brakes were a bit sketchy) under its belt. Maybe it's because I drive fairly nice cars on a regular basis, but I found the Cobalt to be endearingly bad. The car was pretty slow for 140hp in a light sedan, was noisy at highway speeds and steering feel that was basically just vibrations. The interior was just, awful, but that didn't bother me. The whole experience of driving the car was so wrong that I ended up enjoying it. Part of the reason I liked it was because it was in such disrepair already that exhibiting any care for the car's condition really didn't make sense anymore. You could flog the crap out of it, put a few dents in it, cover it in mud; who cares? Driving a beat-up little car is kind of a freeing experience.

I drove a Cherokee like that.

It was... Kinda road legal.

I have no idea why anyone should feel guilty for liking it.
I prefer the Doblo, as it doesn't look like there was only one designer, whose only job was to change the grille to a worse one.

Well, the Dorreti is a rare, expensive old car. GTP usually hates those for some reason. And Promaster is our only option, I like it but I do agree the Doblo looks better.
