I would love to see a video of that.
So would I, but sadly I doubt one exists. It's sad they haven't persisted with the technology though - I'm yet to drive one, but I've passengered and its ability to ride better than any modern car yet corner completely flat is remarkable.

Imma come out and say it:

^ That is why this thread is for! :D

BT -> The Crossfire is even more captivating in its rare SRT-6 form! Heck once I've collected all the cars I like/adore/love, I'd the SRT-6 (coupe) on my roster. :)

Overlaps with the boring car appreciation thread but...

First Gen Citroen C5

Nowhere near as schmexy as its Peugeot cousins but I've always had a desire for these. I do really like the rear.
^ That is a very attractive econo-sedan! A refreshing sight over many monotone econo-sedans worldwide! 👍

On the topic of Citroens, the Citroen Xantia.

There was something to this car that got my attention, mostly it's looks.

I dig that interior, too.

The Xantia, eh? I know a bit about those, a neighbour owns a 1.9D version. It isn't 100% original, as it has a bodykit of sorts, but still a cool car. Although I do have to say, my Citroen '90's love lies within a lower-ranked car:

The 1st gen Xsara. Not the 2nd gen, because there's something about its design that puts me a bit off. And of course, this big bad boy:

Oh Citroen, you had such a bold lineup back in the 1990's, it's no wonder you have kept that tradition reasonably well...
^ All '90s Citroens are awesome and timeless! 👍

-> Too bad, Citroen never had a decent sport/GT car since the SM. :indiff:

BT -> Since high school, back in PI, there is one particular Nissan that makes me very curious and intrigue:

^ Based on the iconic B13 Sentra/Sunny platform.

Not really guilty, since I've heard they aren't actually bad at all, but I do like the mid 90s Toyota Soarer/Lexus SC. Its more of a case that they're just generally forgotten about now and that makes them somewhat cool.

Japanese models also have one of the best ever looking badges in my opinion:

So 90s that it hurts.

2JZ I see no problem with (Mavs have an inline-6 base model stock), but I wouldn't apply RPF1s to a car like the Maverick. Modern-styled wheels on a classic car looks... Eh to me.

Modern wheels in muscle (and classic in general) cars that have been evidently modernized like the 2JZ-Maverick posted above are awesome because they emphazise the fact that the car has been thoroughly upgraded with modern stuff. Modern wheels on otherwise stock muscle/classic cars, yeah, that's the problem there.

It's a shame they stuck with virtually the same interior that graced the R170 it was based on. Cheap elephant-skin plastics which looked outdated by the turn of the millennium somewhat undermined one of the more leading-edge exterior designs of the early-mid 00s.
Personally I like the interior. It isn't as cheap feeling as you think it is... It definitely has its design quirks, but the cup holders that pop out above the air vents was a brilliant idea

Regardless of whatever it emphasizes it doesn't change the fact that it rarely works with the body styling and can make or a break the car very easy. It's incredibly delicate.

It either works very well or it doesn't work at all.

I think the S Type was really/is only hated because it panders to a sterotypical view that Britain is stuck in the 1960s and we all still wear bowler hats.

I quite like the S-type too. I saw this one on the M1 the other day:

jaguar-vehicles-1999-jaguar-s-type-police-car-2424450.jpg

Was quite funny watching everyone slow down for it like they normally do. I clocked it as an S-type from way back. Way too old to be an on-duty car. Cruised past everyone going slowly. Was a couple in their 70s driving it.

The S-type always suffered in comparison to the XJ, but I think the slightly odd and overtly retro looks have improved with age. Still looks odd from some angles, but it's fairly well proportioned. I'd love an R. And I can't lie, the fact you can pick up grotty V6 manuals for under a grand makes them pretty tempting.
