What? It was just revealed. (Assuming you're talking about the SV)Oh dear...this car did not age very well at all.
Pretty disappointed they pointed the exhaust down instead of right in your face. That is part of the magic of the normal Aventador. These tips should be pointed skyward!
I always thought the aventador was a step back in deisign and this SV reminds me how great the murc SV looked and still looksDon't like the body kit, it looks so after market.... the Murcielago SV's looked a lot better, racey but not tacky. Still don't think they've topped the Murcielago SV yet (although the normal Aventador is much closer)

German magazine Auto Bild had the chance to conduct a sprint test with a near-production Lamborghini Aventador Superveloce prototype.
Described by Lamborghini as being their most emotional production model ever made, the recently introduced Aventador SV has lost 50 kg and gained 50 HP compared to the "regular" LP 700-4. As a result, the supercar from Sant'Agata is now able to run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) in only 2.8 seconds, thus making it 0.1s quicker than before.
It's not only lighter and quicker than before, but also 150 percent more aerodynamic and can generate a downforce 170 percent higher than the Aventador also helped by the added rear wing. It gets unique 20-inch front & 21-inch rear alloys shod in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires and stops efficiently thanks to standard carbon ceramic discs.
Lamborghini has already announced they will start selling the €327,190 Aventador Superveloce by the end of this spring.
It just set the second fastest street-legal production car lap around the Nurburgring.

Fourth fastest. Behind 2 versions of the Radical SR8 and the Porsche 918.

Have they changed the single clutch gearbox? It seems to shift much faster than the regular Aventador.
The gearbox on the standard car already shifts in 50 milliseconds in it's most aggressive setting. I wouldn't be surprised if it was recalibrated and shift times are down to the 40 millisecond range and below.
Lets see:Is it just me, or did it actually take more than 7 minutes for the car to complete a lap? I'm saying this because I noticed that the timer started and stopped counting at different places.
Lets see:
Lap Start: 0:08
Lap End: 7:09
So it actually took 7:01
