I can't believe I missed this thread! & also can't believe neither of these have been posted here yet!

Just like the good old days...
1:44 is sweet, Dragster on public road, you can hear the echo lol.

And THIS is just sick! I am totally going to do this when I get a truck. I remeber when this had only a few 1,000 views, now it's at 16 million!

The "truck" burnout isnt too bad, but its got nothing on the Aussie guys who actually throw the cars around!

I'll post videos of bike burnouts :dopey:

Extreme language warnings, and I could not understand anything he said; but the burnout itself is pretty impressive 👍

And I cannot resist posing a video of the CBX 1000 :sly:

EDIT: And this

The truck did a burnout, what you guys call a "burnout" (i.e. throwing the car around), is called "doing donuts" here.

Absolutely. That's no burnout but sliding around like crazy, which is, mind you, hella easier than a full-on, really dense, no-assist (roll control) burnout.

"Donut" is just a type of burnout, just like a "stand still" is also a type... a kinda lame type for a competition but still :P

A burnout competition doesn't have to limited to one type, it's much more interesting to see the car move around in a crazy yet [some what] controlled fashion.

Easier than a standstill burnout?

Um.. what?

Im not sure what he means by roll control, but holding the gas down with the wheels turned is much easier than doing a standing burnout where you've got to time the clutch and then modulate the brakes with your left foot. They're still both very easy, but donuts are easier.

I still think its far harder to control a car in a limited space, keeping the backwheels spinning while avoiding the fence.

Here are some lovely flames.
