Well, my TS030 @ just 615pp has won every time @ Nurb 24min race when I did this:

Step #1 - Bought a NEW Toyota TS030
Step #2 - Went into the 24min @ Nurb Event
Step #3 - Turned (AS, TC, ASM, ABS) to "OFF" or "0"
Step #4 - Turned SRF Aid to "ON"
Step #5 - Purchased and installed RS Tires
Step #6 - Started "B-Spec" Race
Step #7 - Came back 30 minutes later and had a "win"
Step #8 - Restored frame rigidity after the TS030 reached 340 miles on the odometer

Also, this is completely anecdotal data, but I am also sensing/discovering that "Bob" might be losing his competitiveness after many races. I cleared my system cache and early testing indicates he is running fast like he did when I first fired B-Spec up..........👍

I'm here to learn too, just let me know what your result is and I am happy to help..................👍

Thanks, I'll give it a go, I was using RH tires before.

Another thing to consider on the car to use for grinding.

You can buy a rocket and all the parts needed to get it to 650 PP with RS tires for a total of 283,300 credits. Once it begins to wear out it will cost 50k to restore the frame, 30k to rebuild the engine. So if you count the cost of the car, all the parts needed to bring it up to 650pp, two frame restores and 2 engine rebuilds you are still at only 443,300 credits.

In comparison it costs 500k to refresh an LMP and 500k to rebuild the engine on an lmp not to mention the initial price tag.

I touched on this in another thread, a sub $100,000 2006 corvette with upgrades can win the like the wind event easy and to repair the chassis and engine is super cheap compared to the pagani I was using that has $500,000 chassis restore fee

Okay using a new ts030 on RS without rain tires even purchased so he can't switch, Bob won the Nurb 24min easily. 👍

And won with over 44sec margin so I think the problem was Bob switching to rain tires during pit stops in my other TS030

Just keep in mind that the engine deterioration and chassis wear may start to deteriorate the TS030's performance. I'm seeing some of that around 10 races and 350mi with the TS030. Plus I am still keeping an eye on whether or not "Bob" is saved in your game cache......and whether or not he starts to fade after a number of races.

Just trying another car out now and am a bit surprised by the result of the first lap.
The car I am using is the Crossbow R Anniversary edition. Max power upgrade, RS tires, trans set at ~199 mph

1st lap 8:46.067 which is over 2 seconds faster than the Bentley Speed 8 on the fastest of the two races I ran it in.
Fuel usage is low in the crossbow so looks like it will not have to pit. Will update with the final result once the race is complete.

Edit1: Bob struggled a little on the wet track lap 2, left a lot of paint on the railings but still opened up a 35 second lead going into the last lap.

Edit2: Final result 27:39.633 which is 36 seconds better than the Bentely Speed 8 and about a minute better than the Rocket. Totally smoked all the AI cars including the 97 F1 GTR.

Edit3: This car also only costs 50k to refresh and 30k to rebuild

Thanks for the ideas, my rocket is currently storming it whilst I watching Netflix.

I did the redbull races earlier for the first time also, a lot of input required...

Excellent info everyone! Very useful. I have only tried the rocket on the 'ring 24 so far, and after watching the first lap, I noticed that bob is so quick in it mostly because of the low weight of the car. It allows him to brake much later than the AIs in the race cars, and we all know how great GT AI is at braking lol. I reckon the lightest cars for any given race (bar like the wind, due to lack of corners and braking) would be the best choices for bob.

Edit* Has anyone else tried changing the target to any of the AIs? I was checking what tyres other cars were on near the end of the first lap, and when I went further back, it did the whole black screen thing it does during replays when you go to a car on the other side of the track, but when I went back to bob, the black screen stayed there, and now it just won't load the track or anything...

Edit2* Race never ended.... Once bob finished his last lap, he just drove around at about 50kph, and nothing happened. none of the controls worked at that point, all I could do was exit the game back to ps menu. When I did that, ps3 couldn't exit the game so it did a 3 beep and then froze, requiring me to unplug it to turn it off. This is the fourth time this has happened since the 1.16 update. First time I've tried playing b-spec, what a ****ing waste of time.

I haven't had any issues lately. I think the last time I had the game freeze or require a restart was over a year ago

Can use upgraded LCC Rocket with RS tires. Do not buy any wet tires for it.
set to push the pace as soon as the game allows you.

Rocket will not pit so long as you do not have any wet tires owned, RS tires last the whole race and plenty of fuel. Easy win

Just did this with the LCC Rocket. All tuning parts, no oil change. I did put a tune on the car for I. CargoRatt (my B-spec drivers name :P) so he would have a decent handling car to drive. Won the race easily as per your instructions. (Push The Pace at the beginning)

Race time: 28'19.689 (3 laps)
30.355 seconds
ahead of the McLaren F1 GTR Race Care '97

Watched the race just out of curiosity. The only issues were when the track was around 95% wet, I. CargoRatt had a few off track excursions, but since he was about 1 second ahead of the McLaren, it wasn't a problem as he never lost the lead and started pulling away the more the track dried. I will use this race for when I have to run to the store or take a shower, otherwise I still prefer Route X. Thanks for your suggestion here, appreciate it.

EDIT: Forgot to hit the "Push The Pace" button in the second race until about 10 seconds before the long straight on the first lap. Still won by 20 seconds. In both races, tire wear was very minimal but even and used a little over half a tank of gas. Easy wins with this one.

The Chappy 2J destroys the competition with RS tires, "push hard" setting with no realtime commands. It doesn't even make a pit stop..............

I finally purchased a couple 20 million dollar cars today with the newly acquired funds............

Which race?

He is talking about the nurburgring 24 minute race I would think, the 2J will win easy there, of course it costs 500k to refresh it when it wears out and the Crossbow can win by just as much perhaps more than the 2J and cost 1/10th the amount to rebuild

Oh, sry, yes I was speaking of the Nurb. For me not all the B-Spec races I run in GT5 and GT6 B-spec are about economy. They're about me gaining an understanding what the performance boundaries PD coded each car with in the game from either economic or physical performance..or both. I do look forward to learning more about which car/setup combinations deliver the best value (credits/per cost). On the subject of the 2J...............I had a fascination with the 2J in b-spec in gt5 as you can see here. I had Qty (7) of them in my garage:

The good news is that I can now blow the dust off my PS3 and fire up GT6 B-spec while I play the sim that I actually enjoy.....Assetto Corsa............

What? so much time for only 614.000?

If I'm not mistaken, in the online quick race mode you get 500.000 in less than 5 minutes, providing you win, and its not a hard thing to do at all, because its full of terrible drivers in there. And you actually play, which is nice too.

It's actually almost no time...because BSpec..which is kind of the point of BSpec.

Earning 614,000 takes 15 seconds of my time, that's a lot less than 5 minutes.

But in the quick race you can actually play and you can have fun. Otherwise in the b-spec you dont play and you only have your ps3 working and wasting electricity for more than half an hour. Its only for the sake of getting credits. Like the trick in the PS2 running in daytona to get credits...

So if you want to drive and don't mind the punters then fine but if you don't have time to drive or just don't feel like it but still want to gain some credits B-Spec is the way to go.

I personally hate the concept of quick match and I hate even more that they added a large payout when the other online races pay almost nothing. IMO that takes more away from online racing than it adds.

FM2 had it right. User created lobbies, driver rankings, quick race, search, invite, join friends. The only thing GT has added to online that is better is the ability to buy upgrade parts while in a lobby but they are missing many key things that are needed.

For me personally, I find it more fun to earn credits in GT6 without actually having to play. I played B-Spec in GT5 much more than A-Spec.

It's not a waste of electricity for me because I want to gain an understanding how PD has implemented B-Spec in GT6, understand it's nuances, and maybe someday publish a game that is similar in concept.......and make real money.......:sly:

I just repeat both Nurb 24 minutes and Lemans 24 with the trusty Furai, on RH, push the pace command, is as set it and forget it as it can be, wins every time!! I'm actually surprised nobody mentioned the Furai...
I used the Furai once on NBR. It did a fine job. Costs more to maintain than some of the others though.

Why Lemans? It pays less than NBR.

@HBR-Roadhog Lemans is mostly out of habit I guess, I like the track and racing there... About the maintenance costs, I run the car as far as I can, but you're right, others are cheaper to mantain, still, the Furai is a great choice for any race with the GT class

Yeah the Furai is an awesome car, I've driven the wheels off it.

Just for giggles I started Bob on Lemans in my 650pp XBow, unfortunately the XBow is a bit harder on fuel here than on the Ring. Looks like he will have to pit for fuel before the race is over. Not quite fast enough to run with the LMPs here.

I'm not saying that quick match is the best online mode, of course. A proper lobby with good players is the best thing, but I think quick match is the fastest and "least boring" way to get credits.
Anyway I dont care because I did that million glitch and I dont know how to spend my money...

I've ran the NB 24 minute race several times today with the rocket and it wins every time so long as the pace is set at the begining. If you forget to set the pace up it will fall short

If you are looking for a quick one to run like the wind SSRX is probably the best choice 140k in just over 4 minutes and is an easy win in any one of several different cars.
Red bull x standard championship Silverstone cut every corner 260k in 4 min
