i think my bobs are rubbish or the cars i'm using is no good ?

The trick is, to win with a good strategy with your tires. Switch tires a bit better than the competition and slip ahead.
My best has been 4th within seconds of the lead.

If I would have conserved my tires better during the night stint, I could have gone through to the end and taken the lead, not having to pit a second time, as the first three did.

I run the Courage with Judd V8.

There are a few threads about those B-Spec race in the Seasonal Events... why don't you go there and have a look? :)

use the Audi R8 Race Car (Audi Playstation Version) '05. Knock a few horses off to get it down to 700pp. Pit on lap 3 with the others to change to intermediates, and again at the start of the last lap to get some fresh hards. otherwise you will run out of tyre and they'll beat you just before the finish. i tried not stopping last time and it didnt work lol. I'm now on the last lap with a 20 second lead. ( lvl 38 bob )

First of all your asking a question, So this is in the wrong section, Second you didnt even try searching as you would have found that there is a thread allready running. Third its any easy win on both races, my Bob ( hamilton ) won both races at the first attempt.

A cool 10 million for 2 races.

Edit:Both my winning cars are set to online for anyone to use, they do not need any setup or tuning as already done. Also your drivers may be a high enough level but they do need a good career bar, Being just a level 40 isnt good enough to leave them to it.

how do you get more then 700bhp
i only got 465 with big turbo

thx
grtz

I managed to win it with the Toyota GT-ONE.

To do it easily, it required two adjustments... Put a setup that's good for Bob in the wet, and pit out of sequence.

Settings were:

765 HP / 900 kg / 698 PP

Ride Height : +5 / +5
Spring Rate : 13.5 / 13.5
Dampers (Extension) : 5 / 3
Dampers (Compression) : 5 / 3
Anti-Roll Bars : 3 / 5
Camber Angle : 0.8 / 0.8
Toe Angle : 0.00 / 0.40

LSD : 20 / 30 / 5

Downforce : 60 / 85

Brake Balance : 5 / 5

Transmission custom settings: 2.613 / 2.011 / 1.547 / 1.190 / 0.916 / 0.705
Final Gear : 3.765

Start on Racing Hard tires, pit at the end of the 2nd lap, go to Intermediate tires.
Pit at the end of the 8th lap, go to intermediate tires. Bob wanted to come in and get Racing Hard tires at the end of the 9th lap -- I had to cancel his pit request. (His 10th lap on Intermediate tires was the fastest of the entire race.)

Won by about 11 seconds.

i got second with toyota Gt-ONE just added a little ballast and lowered the downforce. pit with everybody else. i'm gonna try the audi r8 05 people suggest

I attempted to beat this race 6 times, during these attempts I realized that the Pescarlo C60 Hybride was always in the lead by far. So I tuned mine using one I found on a forum and by the third lap was in 2nd. I pitted with the leader and jumped him in the pits. Then it was just easy sailing for the rest of the race. At the end I finnished 1 minute ahead of the Audi R8. My bob racing the first stint was lvl 38 and the second stint was driven by my best driver, a lvl 39 with over 200 races under his belt. My best advice is that when the aggressive bar is 1/2 up the right side is when he drives the quickest. This is because he doesn't accelerate to fast resulting in no wheel spin and faster, more consistent lap times

if you don't have the stage 3 turbo you get 765hp at 698pp

After trying with the Minolta, Audi R8, and GT-One, I switched to the C60 Hybride with only a basic quick-tune after seeing it consistently running at the front of the field.

After slightly adjusting transmission so Bob could just about pass down the straights (topping at about 227-230mph), and pitting at the end of laps 2 and 7, I found I was leap-frogging most of the field while they were in the pits rather than have Bob fail to overtake on the track as per the norm.

And this was with a Bob at level 32, and a Bob at level 30. Also found they were much quicker if the pace bar was quite near the centre rather than towards the high end during the very wet parts of the race ;) As soon as it gets too high, Bob kicks the back end out too much...

Edit: This was starting on RH tyres, then Inters for 2nd and 3rd stints...

If you have the Chapparal 2J, use that at La Sarthe. Fit sports softs and don't pit. Easy.

Won on the second time with a Bentley Speed 8
reduced height, and took off 10% aero front and rear, minimum weight, reduced power to 700pp, and geared to 230mph (which wasn't quite enough)

With only one pit stop -
Used 2 Bobs, Level 37 (who is fast and a bit wild) and then a calmer Level 35

Bob 1 on RH, kept in the red throughout his stint, and got upto 4th
pitted the lap after everyone else and came out in about 9th (for inters and 10 litres of fuel)

Overtook the 905 Peugeot, and then kept BOBs pace down to about 70%,
kept up with the frontrunners,

as daylight returns overtake a few who have used up their tyres, with 2 to go I increased the pace, to catch up with the leading pack
at the end of lap 9 - everyone else pits,

then spent the rest of the last lap maintaining Bobs pace, won by 5 seconds, with inters with very little left on them!

To switch to topic a little, I was windering which gt500 cars can be left alone with no input and still win the race. I have only done the spa race once with the yellow hat supra and by no means could it win with no help. Only won by 4 seconds and that's without pitting. I have around 10 different cars, soon to be 14 cause of the 4 in the OCD. So any cars, including ones in OCD, that can do this please tell me.

Thanks

the Lamborghini NOMAD Diablo GT-1 can do it with very little input at Spa.

I can confirm this. Grinding away since it requires no work at all. Just put him in with SS and let him devastate . Lvl 40 Bob not required but used
40:21

Also that i used the Lambo and once he was in front i left him alone and he came in 3rd.. Tried once more and with the slightest coaxing he crushed the comp...i think the first time he must have hit a glitch.

My Lv. 37 driver, "Jason Alexander" must really suck 'cause even with the 2J on SS with no stops he still only came in 2nd.

couple things to make sure of. wheres your top speed...should be around 215...also i bet he may just need help keeping his pace up when he's alone. so just jack him up every 8-10 mins and see if it doesnt help

For Spa, any GT500 car would do (I used the Calsonic Impul GT-R (P)) put in Racing: Intermediate tires and you're good (no pits).

For La Sarthe, I used the TS020 (Toyota GT-One) then appliad evoflash's strategy. won by 15sec.

Calsonic Impul GT-R (P): use with level 40 bob then the only thing to do is not let him pit.

That's how I'm grinding right now. :)

Agreed, won it for me. The inter's were still at 60% by lp6, where Bob drove into the lead and never looked back. He was still 50% strength at the same mark and a full mental capacity. The auto-pit caught out the entire field on lp8 so on went new tires, and strangely the whole ordeal damaged Bob's mentality and he never recovered. Some say, that he is brutally scared of the 'Lollipop Man'
