My first tip would be to get a Friend who uses B-Spec Grinder Widget or get it and host the races your self. I started my B-Spec before remote racing or seasonal events began. I dont think my BOB won a race until he was about level 7. It was quite annoying doing the same race over and over again till he had enough XP to actually win something! There was no point trying to monster the Events either because giving a more powerfull car would just lead to him crashing on every other corner.

After you get your Bob upto a decent level then start entering the Seasonal B-Spec Events. The XP gained and rewards given far outweigh the rewards from other B-Spec events. Even if you dont win the gains are big!

Most of my B-Spec drivers are at least level 37+ now, minus one level 0 Driver.

My tip for winning is to always make sure you're matching the tyre specifications of every race. A thing I realised is that some cars won't necessarily have the correct tyre choice fitted, so don't automatically assume that they will have, especially for Comfort and Sports regulated races. This way, as long as you've checked and changed to the right tyre choice, the driver and car won't be making retarded decisions.

A more important tip would be to allow the B-Spec driver some level of aggressiveness, especially if they're the cool type who'll take longer to change mentality. Keep them level headed in tight packs, and wait for the right moment to push them to be aggressive after the group has spaced out slightly. Then you can take advantage of the cooled down AI whilst on the attack, which generally makes overtaking easier for your B-Spec drivers.

Also, there are bound to be areas in the track that require different levels of pace and mentality, finding out where to run hard and the precise moment to cool your drivers (i.e. when approaching a hairpin after a long straight) can save a lot of trouble and unecessary spinouts.

I have 4 level 40 drivers, all my own work. i did nt use any widget or remote races or got anyone else to race them for me. Part of the fun of the game is building the drivers up yourself, GT is a marathon not a sprint.

This way you'll learn about your drivers and their habits as they progress.

I also have several drivers at about the 40 mark but how do you get them to the peak of there career and quickest way. Ive got one whos done nearly 200 races. ve been doin the sunday cup loads and hes at lvl 40. Is this the best way to peak as it doesnt look like his career bar is moving.
