Backround Noise

It's alot easier i find to drift or even race with NO distractions! Don't get nervous etc like people say when drifting or racing. Listening to music would put me off! In my actual car i only listen to music when doodling lol but when i have the foot down and racing around it's just so much better to listen to the car :P

I don't listen to any music while drifting, i have to be able to listen to my engine, otherwise i can't drift :/

I wish there were more rooms with the mic's off so you could play your Personal BGM as opposed to the GT5 sound track. It would also limit the number of annoying people on the mic that like to make odd sound effects or echo their game sounds because their volume is set ridiculously high. We are also supposed to be civilized people. F this and F that every other word isn't necessary, but I guess if you're an e-thug it makes you hard...

What's wrong with e-thuggin? It gives me time to flex my super huge cyber muscles! /jk

LOL! I might make an exception for you cause you're freakin' beastin' in the lobbies. And when you rant it makes my GF crack up...

My musical taste is similar than yours and some of many GT5 tunes. I even download OST from other racing games and collect the best of them.

Usualy i have a pendrive with 16gb of music selected for drifting. I use on my real life car (even if i dont drift on it), PC and PS3. Plus, there are a hidden trophy for people that use own music in GT5.

I guess ill come here several times putting some tips of cool music that works on drifting.

"Late night brakes lock hear the tires squeal. Can't stop so I spin the wheel..."

LOL

This was made back in 2000's some of that footage came from D1 Rankings I believe...and Keiichi's Drift Bible

It is blocked now in my country because of Sony rights... I just love that video, luckily i downloaded it from youtube before it got protected...

thats what i do!

I bet listening to songs with a distinct beat will distract my rhythm.

This. Especially if its a fast song like some metal or something, I find myself pushing the car too far and getting sloppy.

I drift best by just hearing the sound of my car and other cars. Its pretty hard looking to the left or right of your car while you are sideways as the wheel is always spinning different directions, so being able to hear where your opponents car is in relation to your own is crucial for me. I use hood/roof cam so its hard to see where other cars are at, I need my ears.

So, no music for me.

I normally end up listening to idiots who have there TV turned up way to loud, so i can hear there car over my own :grumpy: Or Adavicro being a 'tard
