Backround Noise

This. Especially if its a fast song like some metal or something, I find myself pushing the car too far and getting sloppy.

I drift best by just hearing the sound of my car and other cars. Its pretty hard looking to the left or right of your car while you are sideways as the wheel is always spinning different directions, so being able to hear where your opponents car is in relation to your own is crucial for me. I use hood/roof cam so its hard to see where other cars are at, I need my ears.

So, no music for me.

Stealin my thoughts huh?? 💡 lol.. GET OUT OF MY HEAD!! :scared:

I think trends in pop culture have been supposed to go with a 20 year cycle / wave or whatever . . .

big black glasses and mo culture in the 80s . . . well . . . that kinda made a comeback in the 2000's

abba in the 70s
ace of base in the 90s

^^ so does that mean a denim and khaki resurgance is what have to look fwd to in the 2010's...because I surely got enough of that in the 90s...and I pray grunge doesn't make a comeback...or is emo the the new grunge?...I shudder to think of it...

well obviously stuff doesn't come back 100% as its original incarnation, it's just "themes" that recur, so maybe all we have to worry about is insane plaid resurgence

Oh yeah the al from "home improvement" look...don't forget the things that were still alive and licking in the early 90's hi tops..parachute pants...I don't remember things settling out until about 1995, where people finally seemed to regain the sense they lost in the 80's...lol

Does music help you when you drift? It helps me alot because it calms my nerves and gets me flowing. I was just wondering if im the only one that enjoys drifting with music.

It's most important that you can focus while you're drifting. If music can help you focus then yes.
