Oh my god I am just soooooooooo P!$$ed off. I was cheering Barrichello all the way through the race until Ferrari screwed him (as per usual) even Schumacker was annoyed. This is why I hate Ferrari, I am just soooooooooo Irate grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. The sad thing is that Barrichello just deserved to win. My grammar and spelling is going because of my anger.

Apart from that the race was quite interesting, takuma Sato had a terrific crash with Nick Heidfield missing montoya by inches and sent the other two off to the hospital.

I know it wasnt his fault but I was so annoyed, my friend Rick will be even more annoyed he is a biiiiiiiig Barrichello fan. Lets hope we see sato at Monaco. AND I DONT WANT TO SEE SCHUMEY WIN.

No offence Schumacher :D

Oh and Button didnt get any points Today :(

It is Schumi's fault too.
First he passed him on the finishline, securing his undeserved victory.
Then he plays the nice man by letting Rubens stand on the nr.1 podium and hand him over the winners trophy.
If he really disagreed with Ferrari's decision, he should have stayed behind Rubens and stayed on second place.

Yes but being as gay as Jean Todt is either of them could of risked being fired as they wouldnt have listened to Todt (the gay fat fish)

Oh yeah Like there really going to fire Schumacher, one day Im going to silverstone armed with a sniper rifle

Did any of you guys caught Barrichello's reaction? "I don't really mind though, look, I've just signed a 2 year contract with Ferrari and that's why I should show respect towards the team and their decisions."

Unbelievable, truly poor. I'm not pleased at all about it. We all know that Barrichello is the number 2, and that he has to defer to Schumacher, but was that really necessary? I don't think so, not at this point in the championship, with Michael wandering off in the lead, and the two Williams fighting each other for points.

True, championships have been won and lost by less, all through the history of F1, but at this stage it really wasn't on.

Ferrari should be sanctioned for bringing the sport into disrepute, but it's a difficult call - after all, the team were honest about their switching the drivers round. I remember Austria 1998, where Schumacher needed to get past Irvine, and it was funny how Irvine suddenly developed "brake problems".

Nice for Jordan to get some points though after what could have been a tragic weekend for them. And why, when we enjoyed so much in-car footage from Montoya, did we not see that incident?

I've just gotten up and seen it - that was friggin' disgraceful.

Nasty incident with Sato and Heidfeld- I hear they're both okay.

i've not watched it yet. hmm, maybe ferrari is worried, barichello is adopting well to the car.

I am now boycotting Speed Channel. I will not be watching the race. I will be looking here and elsewhere online for information on F1.

I don't have an issue with team orders as such - I think the issue is when it's done so horribly blatantly as it was last night (shades of Berger and Senna at Japan in '92). If Reubens had drifted back to Schumacher after the pitstops, and let him past, I doubt we'd be having this debate.

I think the other issue is that Schumacher was over 20 points in front of second place - it's one thing being conservative....

Having had the opportunity to see the first half of the race, what the hell was Villenueve thinking on the second corner? I saw him coming up the inside and thought 'oh yeah, I wonder who he's going to hit' and sure enough, he lost the front under braking and he went into an Arrows - it was like watching me on GP3 trying to make spots up the inside!!

One might think that an onus would be on a driver with a rotten car to not take risks on a slippery track.

Yeah, but we are talking the guy who rolled two years in a row at Eau Rouge in different cars here....

you keep saying that every year tuscan so take no notice everyone he can't kill chubacca doh I mean shumacher

my respects to barrichello on his underserved loss

yeah, found out earlier. nice.

i'll say mine here, i chose point fine, and i'll even admit to having voted twice, which is odd since i'm on the same computer and only voted maybe an hour or so ago the first time. a points fine won't faze ferrari, nay, something that will show them that such a disgregard for the sports image and honor will not be tolerated must be metted upon them. I do not wish to punish rubens or micheal, so i think their driver's points from the previous race should be deducted from the team points, which means they get nothing from the spanish gp.

i believe that will drop them to even with bmw, but i suppose still in first because of the better win record, not sure how that figures with ruben's dnfs

The FIA won't do anything - team rules aren't actually illegal. Ferrari have a quite public arrangement with Schumacher #1 and Barrichello #2.

This whole storm blew up in the Australian GP in '99 when Coulthard quite obviously let Hakkinen through. The guy running the Australian GP blew up and demanded action, the FIA said, yeah, we'll have a look at changing the regulations - and then nothing happened.

The storm won't result in Ferrari letting Barrichello win some races when Schumacher's behind him - it'll just mean Ferrari will be a bit more discrete in getting Michael past Reubens.

This is exactly it. Because it's so easy for the teams to fake an issue with one of the cars, the FIA can't police it. In a way, such a public display of team-ordering is more honest than some underhanded technical non-problem.

Exactly.

And for people who don't believe Ferrari will get off with maybe a small fine, I have the following phrase for you - 'barge-board'.
