Well Schmacher is a good driver, he has lot of discipline that's why he doesn't make as many faults as more emotional drivers tend to do...
But I tell you something, I first want to see this circuit drivers drifting with 170 km/ h
2 meters away from the trees, beating Grönholm, Solberg and Co. the we know how great they are...
Schumacher is not better than Barichello or the other F1 drivers if you take away his car, his " Schumacher is our god, we live and breathe for him"- Ferrari team and his many years of training... His pure skills can be beaten by the others, ....
So, having said this, it is probably very unlikely that Barichello will beat Schumacher in the same team....

Did you know that Schumacher secretly takes training hours with Petter Solberg in the Scandinavian forrests ?

Yes, someone mentioned this in the WRC thread, did you know Michael was once named the Racing Technology of the Year by Automobile Magazine.

Well that somebody was me, just thought most F1 fans are no rally fans and vice versa.... well... the racing technology of the year.... .... why not.... it makes sense ....somewhat...

You also have to take into account that before Schumacher,Ferrari was nothing. He kind of buillt the team around him wich is also a skill one has to posses to succeed in F1.Very few drivers can do that. That's why he is the best. The teams who keep switching drivers will never be succesfull like Ferrari.

  I remember that they said his driving alone is worth xxx time, and in a world where the fastest lap times are seperated by less than 1 second over the entire field that's a huge difference. I wish I could remember more about the article, it was a number of years ago, and I don't know if I even have it anymore.......

It seems to me that Ferrari accidentaly make cars that favour one driver style to another. The 02 car favoured MS and the 03 favoured Rubens. Note how this usualy coincides with a close championship year. So far Rubens seems to have gotten a handle better on the new reg car over MS. This is good....for him and for the viewing public. Ferrari, make more cars that Michael cant drive!!!

It was impossible to compare Rubens and Schumi at Melbourne. Their fastest lap times were very close, but Schumi was never going to get anywhere near starting from 19th and having to carve through so much traffic.

We should get a better idea of how things are in Malaysia, if we get equal conditions in qualifying.

That's one of Schumi's only major faults though, he has trouble going through traffic, sooner or later he tends to make mistakes.

Rubens thinks the new rules for this season favour him more than Michael so this season Ferrari don't have to do all the work to give Rubens a little nudge in the right direction....not that they would EVER want to favour one driver over the other...

Exactly. I mean the incident at the A1 Ring in Austria, was just a big misunderstanding........

Hmm favouritism? Ferrari? Never.......

I know other teams may do similar thingsbut why do Ferrari
a) have to do it so obviously
b) do it to the obvius detriment of the sport. I mean look at the debacle in the USA when they tried to cross the line exactly side by side!! Whats that all about?!?

Hi.

Well I think Rubens is a good driver but he isn't faster than Michael. Maybe he is able to go the speed of Schumi but has he got the skill to develope a car like Michael?

This could be the key for Rubens. I don't believe Rubens is going to make it this year. I really hope Nick Heidfeld and Fisichella are fighting for championchip. That would be great because I like both :)

I'd love to see Kimi and Montoya in the mix championship wise, Webber too, but I don't see him being too close this year, but he'll be in the top few...

Alonso had better watch out. Flavio might find himself a new boy toy. It did look like he was wacking off when Fisichella crossed the line.
