Base models - what will you do with them?

Probably try to make them unique and aesthetically pleasing, and then give up because there is such a limited amount of colour combinations that satisfy both criteria.

How do you know you are able to add numbers and colors , has this been confirmed ??

Pretty much. From the pictures in the GT6 reveal thread, they look functionally identical to RMs seen in GT5.

Paint them and change their numbers. Because that's all you can do.

I wonder if they're going to make the quantum leap and enable 3 digit numbers.

Number 1 and colour depending on the car. I have a feeling I'm gonna be using a lot of Matte Black though (to simulate bare carbon look)

#5 and which ever color I feel like running with when my team gets back into online racing again. Finally at least we have base models hope they add a livery editor, until that happens colors are my vice. PD needs to add the Viper GTS Race Car and Viper GT3R, would definitely love to have those also the base model of the Oreca '99 Viper would be sweet. I think all the race cars should have base models for us to use in team races. I mean they built out the online component for us to have race series and such so we should have lots of race ready cars that only require a number selector and can be painted how we feel(one day).

Pathfinder Blue pearlescent from tvr. That colour suits almost every car . Racenumber for GT6 would be #12 i guess, sick of #33 (my age) and feeling old.

If you can have multiple colors, I would put Red/Blue on the car and white wheels with the number 76, representing Independence Day (July 4, 1776). Gotta love the USA.

Unless there one day comes to be an editor, which seems quite impossible so far, the only interest of these cars seems to be that you will be abble to make online races with the same base car but a different colour per driver. But seeing all these cars plus the multiple versions of some others now just makes me think "okaaayyyy, now i understand how they came to 1200 cars"

Do we know if we can change rims on the race cars? The gt500 base car already has black rims but I always thought the gt500 calsonic gtr looked better with the newer black rims(09+)
