I purchased the ARTA NSX and its pretty good. I still struggle to win on Seasonal Events i cant seem to come first with this car??? Always 2nd or 3rd sometimes even 4th depending on track!!! đź‘Ž

Any ideas anyone?

Put Areo to max, camber to 2.0 front and 0.8 rear!

RS tyres if still can't do it but only as last resort!

This thread is not that old so here goes!

My favourite is the catrol toms supra 97 its so sexy and it won IRL.

The one I hate is the motul pitwork its SO OVERPOWERED!

my favourite nsx is the mobil 1 for Gran turismo 2 nostalgia

my favourite GTR is the penniziol one looks bad ass IMO.

Well I like Oldschool.

=> Castrol Supra is my choice number 1

And even stock against other stock JGTC/SuperGT cars it is very fast and I have beaten countless NSX´s/Lexus´s/GTR´s/Supra´s with her.

Other than from my liking I think the GTR´s are the fastest. Smooth to drive, really fast and overall good handling through tight and fast turns.
NSX suffer from MR => get tricky with worn Tires and "weak" setup
Lexus --> fast too but I don´t like the looks
Supra --> Nice to drive competitive only stock against stocks. Tuned it has to little power.
Z --> I like the Torque !! Setup well and you have an acceleration Monster. But very hard on Tires
Nomad Diablo --> OP beast. If setup correctly it´s waaaay too fast for the JGTC class she is in (and you have the opportunity to put a Turbo on and have 800+bhp)

GT300 are almost the best class. All are superb in Handling and only the personal preference let´s you decide which car you pick
Top:
Garaiya
Asparadrink RX-7
WedSports Celica (first choice for me its the fastest)

No-go:
C-West Räzö Silvia---> What in the name of Satan have PD done to this Car. Sound is ... I like the thing someone posted "farting Elephant" and it´s so slow.
It´s the only GT300 car I absolutly despise and refuse to use (have two though)!!

Any of the Honda NSX Race Cars '06-'08 or Nissan GTR Race Cars '08 (located at the far right end of the model lineup) from the new dealership.

Just doing a series on these with "Premium Only" With all cars at roughly the same here's what we've found:

NSX fastest, but IS prone to snap oversteer
GTR's fastsest in straights, tire wear is the main issue
Lexus just a slight bit slower than GTR flat out, most stable & best tire wear
Supra sticks to the ground but suffers from fronts wearing out quickly

All that said if you include the standards, I'll take the old NSX anyday

the HSV-010 are the best wait we dont have them, so I would say the Epson NSX for GT500 and the Lexus IS race car for GT300 tuned or not

Best? The Honda ARTA NSX (P), because of its cornering performance, and it's powerful, too đź‘Ť

Worse? The Lexus IS 350 Wedssport, because it sometimes oversteers :yuck:. It's still a good car though, just not as good as its GT300 opponents.

I've been organizing a ton of various SuperGT Series. Such as WSGTC 1, 2 and 3, PURE | JGTS to name the biggest ones.

What we've come up with is that with good specs, it's pretty much dead even and up to personal preference which one of these to use:
Honda ARTA NSX '06
Honda RAYBRIG NSX '06
Honda TAKATA DOME NSX '06
Toyota CASTROL SUPRA '00
Toyota YELLOWHAT YMS SUPRA '05
Nissan XANAVI NISMO GT-R '08
Nissan AUTECH MOTUL GT-R '08
Nissan YELLOWHAT GT-R '08
Nissan CALSONIC GT-R '08
Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z '06
Lexus PETRONAS TOM'S SC430 '08
Lexus DENSO DUNLOP SARD SC430 '08

Then we have:
Honda EPSON NSX '08
Lexus BANDAI DIREZZA SC430 '06

The worse ones:
Nissan WOODONE ADVAN CLARION GT-R
Lexus ENEOS SC430 '08

This is when the cars are slightly tweaked from it's stock form to be on par.
Just buying the car from the NCD and brought to track, the Nissan XANAVI NISMO Z is the fastest one, after that the GT-R's, such as XANAVI, CALSONIC and YELLOWHAT GT-R's are the fastest ones.
The MOTUL is a tad slower straight from the dealership due to 30 kg more weight, or 3 pp's.

I know I've already commented, but why are Toyota and Lexus on the same option? I know that Toyota is Lexus's parent company, but they run different cars in Super GT.

I like the Lexus cars, both for their stability and for their looks.

Well. I voted for NSX's since I do believe they are the best all around cars in GT500, with engine in middle they achieve almost perfect balance, they are created for circuit racing. That being said, there are a few from each company that are equally good. Thanks to the amazing community of GT5, I managed to collect them all, I've driven them all multiple times, thus I can say which really stand out.

The premium NSX's are faster than the standard, the standard versions are more agile, more stable and do not burn as much tire. From the standards, the worst being the Castrol and the best (and ultimately fastest) being the Mobil1. The premium versions produce more power and have higher torque levels, thus making them faster, but they cannot be driven as recklessly as the standard versions. They need a really good setup to aviod from burning their tires.

Nissans. Premium ones are really stable and firm cars, they do not burn their tires as easily if driven properly. Their standard versions are not as good, especially the two PENNZOIL versions. Many people are using the premium Xanavi GT-R, I always prefered the Xanavi Z. Same goes for the standard, the Xanavi Z is truly a marvelous car, although it is as fast as the standard Xanavi GT-R, which is my favourite GT500 Nissan model.

From the Toyotas, once again I prefer the standard Supras, specifically the Denso Sard and the au Cerumo. Especially the au Cerumo is my favourite Supra, not only by its looks but its performance is outstanding. Well, it does have a very nice setup, which allows me to battle pretty much all other GT500 cars. I don't really prefer the premium Supras. I just never got into the for some reason.

Lastly, the Lexus cars. Those are the ones I've driven the least. People have beaten me with these, but for some reason when I drive them, even with using setup, I never seem to be able to race as easily as with the other cars.

Overall, I use the Honda's a lot, fromt he Nissans the two versions of Z and the standard Xanavi Nismo GT-R, and au Cerumo Supra. đź‘Ť (feel free to correct me if you think some or all of these points do not agree with your stats).

What about the Autobacs ARTA Garaiya (SUPER GT) '08? I just bought it in the NCD, but I haven't had any time to try it out yet.

I know it's a GT300 car, but it's still Super GT.

Well, the poll states Super GT(GT500) cars only, and this thread has been GT500 based. On the Autobacs, I like it, it's my favorite GT300 car.

Sorry, I thought it was GT500 AND GT300's.

I know it's off-topic in a way but, how well is the ARTA Garaiya (SUPER GT) '08 compared to the other GT300's?

They all look pretty nice but my favorite has always been the Castrol Supra.

Always loved the Castrol liveries from the Corolla in World Rally to the Commodore in the V8 Series in AUS.

Used to like the Pennzoil Nissan back in the day too.

NSX just never handled well for me and the SC430 digital in-car rear view camera is off-putting.

I think all of the GT300 and GT500 cars are good. you just need to be competitive and use a tune without buying any additional parts. But this is just my two cents.

Nissan 1st, Honda 2nd, but it depends on the day. But after the update I'm kinda of liking the NSX's and the HSV-010 is a hell of a machine, it just has a slight issue of cockpit view visibility for me.
