This, my friends, is what you call asking for trouble: the new arcade driving cabinet Octane 120, from Dream Arcades, comes with a built-in keg-o-rator, with the beer tap placed conveniently on the dash next to the steering wheel. You know, so you can accurately practice your drunk driving in a safe environment before busting out your sloppy skills on Saturday night.

Really though, there's nothing wrong with this. I mean, if drinking and playing video games was illegal, I'd be on death row. This thing has two taps — one in the back and one on the dash. This allows a party to be going on around you while you tear it up in Gran Turismo, and you never even have to get up to refill your beer.

The setup includes a 120-inch projection screen, a home theater PC with 12 racing games pre-loaded, a PS3-compatible steering wheel if you want to hook one up, and a 5.1 surround system. It's available now for $7,000.

Does it come with something to prevent everything from coming royally unglued if your sloppy drunken grip...or just plain sloppy grip...loses the glass, and dumps 16 oz of your favorite alcoholic beverage all over the pedals?

Just seems a bit much, my glass sits on the table quite well. As for refills, that's what the pause buttons for. Do they suggest you wear adult diapers, so you NEVER have to get up?

Looks like they paid more attention to the beer accessories than the driving and pedal positions. I've never really understood putting the pedals straight on the floor of a cockpit.

$7000?

You could get a carpenter to build you something much better for less than half the price.

I was thinking the same. The seat base is level with the wheel too, are they going for that authentic Peterbilt driving position? - perhaps they should angle the wheel upwards too to almost horizontal.

"Now available with suicide knob for that authentic John Deer experience"
