Yeah killers intro to somebody told me is totally amazing......want it really really loud..... :)

I play sax, and yeah the intro to Baker's Treat is a good 'un :)

Add onto that the intro the Bloc Party - Like Eating Glass!! Go listen to this if you haven't already, it's a cool track.

Journey

"Message of love"

Play at a decent volume and it makes ur 🤬 tingle.

Plus Neil Schon's riff at the end is top banana.........

 Neil Schon

powripper
I also like Crazy train by ozzy, it just sounds cool
If only the rest of the song was that good...
It's a pretty good song still, it just pales in comparison to the kickassedness of it's intro.

The Who - Won't get fooled again
I don't even like this song, just the intro.

Now if you want to talk crappy intros to good songs, how about the first six minutes of Stairway to Heaven? :dopey:
/me runs like hell

The Cult - She Sells Sancutary has a pretty cool intro. :D
30 Seconds To Mars - I'll Attack
The Ataris - So Long, Astoria
The Killers - Mr Brightside
The Killers - Indie Rock and Roll
Gary Numan - Cars
Black Rebel Motorcycle Club - Heart + Soul
A Flock of Seagulls - I Ran
Ice Cube - Check Yo Self (Just for the Grand Master Flash beat :D)

For Whom the Bell Tolls - Metallica
Fade to Black - Metallica
Disposable Heros - Metallica
Home - Dream Theater

Lots of Metallica and Dream Theater. Too many to list. :)

You need a good pair of headphones to fully appreciate it.

Guns'nRoses "welcome to the jungle" for sure..

I like these:

Metallica-king nothing
Metallica-nothing else matters
Papa roach-getting away with murder. That whole song friken rocks
Powerman 5000-free
Muse-Hysteria. that whole song rocks too
green day-holiday
Eminem-mockingbird
and a few others from songs I'm too embarased to post about.

Bon Jovi-Wanted Dead or Alive
Guns & Roses-Paradise City
Guns & Roses-Sweet Child of Mine (I was never that much of a fan of Welcome to the Jungle, but it does have a great intro)
Yes-Owner of a Lonely Heart (Not much of a fan of the song, but I love the intro)
Pink Floyd-Run Like Hell (My favorite Pink Floyd song)
Van Halen-Unchained
Van Halen-Hot For Teacher
and, of course,
Van Halen-Panama

Voodoo Child (slight return), Jimi Hendrix. This is the coolest intro/riff whatever.

AC/DC's Thunderstruck is the obvious choice for many though.

Do you have a kit Eric? Or just learning on someone elses?

Gosh, it's been so long since I had a mash on the drums, I doubt I could still hold a beat :dopey:

But I'd love to learn the intro to Tool - Ticks and Leaches 👍

top 5-

Avenged Sevenfold - Radient Eclipse
Avenged Sevenfold - I Wont See You Tonight Pt.1 <- piano intro and then guitar solo ACE
AC/DC - Thunderstruck <-DUR
Trivium - A Gunshot to the Head of Trepidation
Avenged Sevenfold - Second Heartbeat
Metallica - Battery

Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

The Bravery - Unconditional & Honest Mistake

The Verve - Bitter Sweet Symphony

Creedence Clearwater Revival - Up Around The Bend
