The thing and I’ll admit I’m a petrol head, is how is it grinding driving cars?

It’s one thing I will never understand. The variety of tracks, cars and races let alone the time trials or just free drive options mean this is a a new and free track day for me.

Based on how some of you talk you’d fall over knowing that I just take a random car round the ring and enjoy it. Just because I can. I like cars and driving, that’s what I bought a game with both in it.

Id imagine a lot of you don’t realise why the E30 M3 is so coveted or the 3.0CSL

Or even why a radical is such a popular track day toy.

This makes me sad.

This may surprise you but that's what I want to do as well. The problem is I can't without credits, and acquiring those credits in GT7 is painfully slow unless you do the boring grindy races.

Not to mention they've now put cars behind these further random roulette barriers, and also engine swaps.

I want to have fun with cars in Gran Turismo, this game seems to be doing everything in its power to stop me, unless I pay more real money or play the same events for years on end.

Famine just made an excellent post in one of the other topics about how lacking GT7 is in the unique things to do category, and as a result, how low on credits youal are once you have don't it all.

There are literally 100s of actual races beyond the cafe menus…

I’ve spent my pre order credits on tuning or just cool cars I’ll want to drive around the ring on a Sunday morning.

The Cafe is is not the career it’s the intro. If you do all of the things in this game, licences. Races for each circuit, the missions you’ll end up with a huge amount of credits… but then that is playing the game vs wanting to have everything now.

Like I said I prefer the driving to the chase the rabbit track days dressed as races but hey each to their own.

Nobody else seems to have. People had done everything in this game in a couple of days, that wasn't possible in the old games even playing 8hrs a day. They've ended up with about 6 million credits which could be gone in a flash.

So if you want to have fun just driving the 424 cars in the game, where are the credits to buy them, and upgrade them, coming from?
 
My first “good” pull was a Scirocco… but I had already bought one earlier, whoops.

My two actual good pulls so far: a Charger SRT Hellcat safety car and 500,000 credits.

Everything else has been peanuts.
 
By far the best was the RX-7 engine (can't remember the name now) but I've also gotten 500k twice and also the Alfa 4c gr 3 Road Car (I think that's the name of it) So I've done pretty well compared to many others. Now that I've said that I'll be pulling 2-5k credits for the next 20 tickets, lol

Haven’t beaten my previous best of Cr.500,000 yet, but do have a 6 star ticket ready to be redeemed. What did people get for theirs (if you’ve got one yet)?
 
Best thing I've ever won is high lift cams for a Lexus I don't even have. Bit disappointed as I've done the Rally Car base model menu book already but oh well maybe one day I'll win something better than £10k and cams
 
I was mostly getting the disappointing low value items, but then got the Alfa 4C Gp.3 and then the GT by Citroen Gp.3 in consecutive spins.
 
Got the Toyota Crown Safety Car and a Nitrous kit for the DB11 (wished it was the Gr. 4 Viper that was the next one over...)

Best is either 500,000 credits (stack of gold bars) or the Audi R18 from the final 6-star roulette coupon.

Other than those 2 things, I've always won the lowest prizes.

I got an ecu part for my 6 star, the cheapest thing on the table :lol:
I even kept all the tickets from cafe and opened them up at the end.
ALWAYS the cheapest thing on the table, be it 2k, 5k, 10k, or a part. I was laughing :lol:
Judging from what you guys say, game should start giving me good spins for the daily workouts rather sooner than later
