The problem with threads like this is that everyone has a different idea of what "best" is.

What we should be asking ourselves is what the most real sounding car is. IMO, a little I4 that sounds absolutely real will be far more enjoyable to me than a synthesized V8 that sounds nothing like a real V8.

The #1 car uses the Formula GT/Red Bull X2010 from GT5 Sound, don't see how it's the best sounding car in GT6.

so far i loved the sound of the r32 skyline, it really has that "godzilla" label all over it~ granturismo really is biased with those nissans...oh and the neweys(redbull cars) and the mp4-12c sounds nice too~

A stock Chevrolet Camaro SS '10.

Turn volume way up and have music off. Sounds great. Especially low RPM. Roof cam gives the best sounds.

How has no one mentioned the Isuzu 4200R?! That thing sounds Godly no matter which exhaust is equipped

Agree any exhaust is great. I've just spent 30 minutes trying them all. My favourite is the Sports exhaust as it encourages you to chase the revs up to that red line every time. A great sound as you approach max revs. Thanks for that.

TVR Tuscan Speed 6
Nissan Skyline Sedan 350GT Type SP
Renault Megane R.S.
Pagani Zonda C12S 7.3

How has nobody mentioned these I do not know.

Hey,

Post videos of the best sounding cars you've came across or own... I'm very interested to explore all of the different sounds.

I made my own little compilation of my own personal favourites that I so-far own. I have a small garage so the list will expand.

So far my top 3 favourite include the new and improved Redbull, the Mazda 787b and the Honda HSV-11 (GT 500 car)

Here's a video review

To be fair I would go for a MK5 vw golf R32 but as gt6 does not include this car I think it should be a classic MK1 ford gt40 with everything standard

I'm quite happy with the sound of the Corvette Z06 '06, though it needs a deeper more harsh growl
The Jaguar XKR-S '11 really sounds good.
The BMW M4 too is ok sounding.

While it doesn't sound very good while racing, I adore the AE86's startup sound (the one that plays when you enter it in the garage)

Was watching this, then I played Gran Turismo 6, my god if the game sounded like this, I would gladly do a 24 hour enduro, or do a 48 hour version as long as the cars start up and sound like this.

i'd gladly do a 24 hour if the put the Agera in the game, man that car is so awesome i cry myself to sleep.

anyway, looking at the comments here, it seems like they upgrade the sounds on a lot of cars compared to GT5 huh ? (still haven't buy GT6 yet here :()

The GTbyCitroen race car sounds exactly as it did in GT5, but I'm not complaining. :D

Still very hard to see out of though, what with the narrow windshield and the HUD thats in the way. Nearly impossible to read it, and the same information is on the steering wheel.

Still, at least its price tag is nearly half of what it was in GT5, and the body is to die for.

Renault Megane R.S.

How has nobody mentioned these I do not know.

How did you make this car sound good? That is my car in real life and it sound not like the GT6 version! The GT6 Meg3 sounds like the typical vacuum cleaner.

I think it sounds good for GT standards. And surely it sounds pretty unique, I don't think I've heard its sample used on any other car in GT :)

I quite like the sound of the Ford GT40 Mark I 15th Anniversary Edition '66, leaves you frustrated on a track like London but stick it on anything with a long straight and it's pure bliss;

I like it too. Too bad it anniversary car, since i don't have this version.
