Updates generally don't feel as big as they could be, but I'm hoping May might be a deviation from the norm in that regard. If May isn't finally a big one, what then? I keep telling myself that the next update will be bigger but this is never the case. Obviously they did mention that these few months would be new content only, but I'm referring to before the Jan. 2025 community update.
T10 needs a creative spark. Someone to come in and enthuse everyone to get firing on all cylinders. Forza Motorsport used to be a big ****ing deal, now it feels niche and almost forgotten in pop culture. It's a shame

I don't think we will ever really get a "big one" we would have had one by now after a year and a half. May will be the turning point most likely to see how they will represent this game in the back half of 2025. Plus we should be expecting another "quarterly" roadmap blog post by then so we'll see.

I'd race Monza more than I would race Fujimi Kaido. I'm not about to lie and claim that Monza is a favorite of mine, its just higher on my desireability list than Fujimi.

If Turn 10 wanted to give me a long drive, I'd rather have FM3's Rally di Positano.
Both would be cool but I'm in the same boat. I pretty much exclusively race endurance racing cars so Monza would be more up my alley for that sense. However, Fujimi was one of my favorite tracks of FM4 and childhood me would LOVE to send it up Mt.Fuji again. Only issue is theres no time attack mode or hillclimb cars in the game which kind of sucks. Honestly if rumors about Horizon 6 being in Japan are true, THAT would be the perfect place to bring back Fujimi Kaido (bit of a hot take). Would be a good reason to bring back the Monster Suzuki or VW IDR. My controversial take though is I'd rather they introduce Pikes Peak if they were going to add hillclimb to FM.

So far. With the delay of a new track announced coming only for May, makes sense, that the track will come in Forzaversary Update will be Fujimi Kaido. Tracks like Fujimi, have a massive development to be optimized for an actual console, like 4 or 5 months. I see the future of the game shine with this update and the upcoming features of the new Creative Hub and returns of Career Tours. With May Update coming out, I expect Monza to be a track coming with the Update of July Month, with the Maserati MC20, Ferrari 499 P Modificata, Ferrari 296 GT3 and more italian cars.

When I saw the Sebring LMP2 challenge was 33 laps I was thinking how many rest breaks I would have to take due to my back. I figured at least two. But to my surprise I finished the whole thing in one sitting with no rest breaks. I'm pretty sure this is the longest single session I've ever had in any racing game. I can't remember ever being in one race for over an hour. I only had one rewind and it was very early, lap 3 or 4 I think when the AI brake checked me horribly coming out of the hairpin and I tried to swerve around and went off track.

I was just about to post on here about how shocked I am to see a 33 lap race on Sebring with the first LMP2 race, a good shock mind you. After the repetitive 3-6 lap loop we have mostly been given in this game I can appreciate a race that's lengthy and I wish the LMDh had some long races like this on Daytona and Road Atlanta just for realistic purposes. Also wish they at least made this multi-class or we at least had the Dallara P217 and Ginetta G57 p2 in game for some variety 😑 but it is what it is.

One of the worst things about this game has to be the UI. It looks cheap and rushed compared to GT7. There's no creative flair, no excitement and no colour to give it any sense of character. I'm not saying that GT7's UI is perfect but it does have a lot of soul and that's very important for a video game. If your game doesn't feel welcoming in it's presentation, you aren't going to play it very much on your own are you? This game just feels cold and uninviting, which completely destroys my desire to play it. I don't want to subject myself to such pathetic game design that's half-arsed and dull.

I'm guessing the close finishing times of the AI was due to the time finishing or did 11th to 13th all finish in a dead heat?
