If those wagons were lighter and had better gear ratios they would perform better. The Legnum is such garbage. Granted, it's half a second faster than the Galant VR-4 at Mid-Field, but that's not saying much. The Stagea's aren't much better either, but at least they have the GT-R's RB motor and can take insane amounts of boost.
But think about the Front / Rear Weight Distribution. If those wagons were lighter and had better gear ratios they would perform better.
True, its should be 50/50 or at least close to 50/50.But think about the Front / Rear Weight Distribution.
If those wagons were lighter and had better gear ratios they would perform better.
What is the Avantime classed as? A coupe that looks like a people carrier, feels like a SUV off-road, corners like boat on track, and has the length of a station wagon...
Ah but is it rIt was classed as an MPV with Coupe styling.
That definition isn't completely thought out though. Strictly going on that would be touch and go for whether it would fail half of the ones that Subaru actually called wagons and pass the current one that they call a hatchback. The only real difference between the GD and GG Impreza is that Subaru put 4 more inches of wheelbase into the back seat area without actually making the car longer. The rear window is just as aggressively sloped as it was on the GD (and seemingly less so than the old GC), but now there is less dedicated cargo room to cover because the rear seat extends back farther; and the more staid and upright styling the current Impreza has looks like the roof portion clears half of the cargo area.
