I'd prefer if they just put the A.I. back to the way it was in GT3. Yeah, it was rubber-band. But it was also fun. And the A.I. wasn't the perfect, never make a mistake cheaters they are in GT4.

The whu?

I'm guessing you've not seen the NSX at the Ring, the Ford GT at La Sarthe or the entire F1 field everywhere (especially Laguna Seca and the Ring)?

Not counting the parts where the A.I. is just too stupid to know what to do (should I hit the brakes? Hmm, let's take a poll on it with the other pedals first). I would also include any MR car at the
Ring 4 hour race. But, I stand by that in general, the A.I. was a lot less mistake ridden in GT4 than GT3.

The handbrake;

In GT3, I loed using it in any condition, drifting or even to hang out the moron on test track and do some stunts but in GT4 it doesn't make you spin at all, well yeah, if you hold it for a whole corner that is :yuck:

Worst- The Daihatsu Sirion X4. It was a great little car to go giant slaying with and the 4WD helped it beat more powerful cars. During the transition the handling seems dead and a bit vague.

Best- The Yaris Turbo. So much more fun!

oh, yet another worse, would be the rear view mirror, i dont like the fish-eye thing, its hard to tell exactly how far away everyone is, so, you have to press L1, just in time to see them pass you, and then you throw the controller on the ground, just to find, you already won the race, your car just goes slower after the finish than everyone elses, haha, but seriously, just a plain rearview mirror would be nice ppl!!!

Speaking of the HUD, the tach/ speedometer combo renders a "Worse". While what I want is availiable, it's only in the Roofcam or the bumper cam. Then you switch to third person and it goes to this...this....bar. Very annoying trying to gauge the maximum redline against that solid red margin when different cars have different max's, you know? (Think: Chapparal 2D vs. a Chevelle.)

On the other hand, a nice positive would be the new analog gauge for how much throttle/ brake you're applying, and the new, yet novel, G-gauge. Nothing quite as cool as physically seeing how much force your car can pound though a turn.

Cheers,
Jetboy

Another one that I've found is the G-Force bar. When I'm playing on my plasma, all I think about is "don't burn in, don't burn in...:scared:" That and the tire wear have been really concerning for burn-in issues. In GT5 they should make everything like the speedo/tachometer -- semi transparent.

omg

worst: getting used to the physics engine
Best: everything else
Hey, could you cut down on the internet-type of typing on here? It's advised that you don't use "u, plz, omg" etc.

Secondly, type some reasons for what you chose. It's what I asked for in the openning post.

Cheers,

Best: Pretty much the entire game for me. The physics, graphics, car selection, depth, etc, etc. Just about everything's better and more enjoyable.

Worst: The music. GT3's soundtrack was quite simply the best in video game history, IMO. Meanwhile, GT4's well, sucks.

Drifting. I'm not sure if it's more realistic or not, but it sure as hell isn't fun in GT4.

And finally, maximum power. Why can the GT-R only get 800HP, as opposed to the well over 1000 it could get in GT3? And the Escudo only 1200-something as opposed to over 1800.:indiff:
