In the Super Touring races, although I win all the time, I find that the AI makes the bloody '93 Civic VTi magically faster than everyone else and it always teams with the 1990 Primera GT:irked: , yet when I bought one ages ago it only went to 237hp AND it was slow!!:P

Would you rather it was as slow as it's supposed to be and you slaughtereid it mercilessly with little to no effort?

it looks like you have the NA2 upgrade, try the turbo stage2 you should have like 294 hp.

btw, the civic is my 1st car AND is not slow (for it's hp) in fact, I could beat the GT40 (in the historic cup) with it.

You beat the GT40 at grindelwald with a 294hp civic :confused: Yea, look there goes a......

no it was in rome, ofcourse I did it riding every wall with him @ my @$$ in the finish line, and did I mention that it was not any civic but a [R] civic

It´s possible especially with that stratagy; specwise the 93 civic vti is arguably the best civic in the game.
Hey Mike wasn´t that suppose to be... I don´t know a pig or something?

I've seen a Horse fly. I've seen an Dragon fly. But I've never seen an Elephant fly....:rolleyes:

i've just did it again in both races with a civic 3door si '93 fully moded with these exeptions:
2 plate clutch, soft tires, no lcd, tcs & asd.

in rome i didn't ride any walls this time just in the first 90 in sector 4(i just couldn't brake in time), and got a lead of 0.575 on him

in grindelwald i didn't ride any walls (I bumped some walls wich made me slower), and got a lead of 2.800 sec. I tried it with a stock GT40 and got a 4.813 lead (or some thing like that) so it is better than a civic but the AI drives like if he had kids in the back :lol:

also i gave them (the civic & GT40) to the 0-400

civic: 13.142 sec @112 mph
GT40: 12.055 sec @118 mph

PS: the civic has a drift setting with low under steering.

I still find that hard to believe. A GT40 rc only 2 secs quicker then a civic round grindel? I dunno bout that.

:D Yip, 'tis a flying elephant :( the zoo was all out of pigs, they had all flown away :(

well these specs will make it easier to believe:

civic= 293 HP , 1867 lb
GT40= 305 HP , 2200 lb

the civic has a better power-to-wight ratio, but the GT40 has the 0-400 1 sec faster.

any way did you see a car-fly

http://www.moller.com/skycar/

this might beat my civic :lol: .

It sounds too good to be true.

Back with the super magic civic problem, some AI cars seem to have far too much grip. Watch the replays. Sometimes they take corners at an impossible speed.

is it the sky car or the civic.

Hey, I gotta apologize dude. I jumped in the spoon civic to test out the grindelwald theory, and altho there was no gt40 - only shelby's, i won by 2.5secs. So i tried again looking for the gt40 and only got a bunch of stratos' (stratii ??), and i won by 4.4secs in a modded mg coupe. Ill try again to find the gt40, but after this, i believe ya ;)

you did it with the worse civic in the game, don't think it is going to beat the GT40 :odd:

I better paint some more varnish on the bumper - cos it will be a close one....;)

Well, it fizzled out into a storm in a teacup. I beat the gt40 twice with the spoon civic (man that car is feckin quick around grindel - my quickest lap was a 1:18.799). Funnily tho, in my experiences the gt40 usually starts from the front, but in the one race it started from the back with me, and in the second race it came third behind a shelby :odd:

ha, i rememeber when i got gt2, i couldnt win that race with a 394hp S4 :lol:

in my case it started 3rd in both tracks.

the good thing in the gt series is tha you can always improve yourself unlike the nfs series.

i'll try the pleu, i'll post it (if i win) in another thread
