And if you're not in the US, you can make a Hong kong master account and then make other hong kong sub-accounts from it for post '92 cars.

It's also easier if you get to the stage where it offers you the car ticket, quit game and back up that save file.
Now you won't have to accept the contract and keep clicking through everything again and again.

Very true. The save game backups have made birthday exploiting much easier :)

How do you create a sub account? I can't seem to figure it out.

Make a hong kong master account (18 or over) with a real email address on your PS3. (Don't use the same email as your main account)

Make a new hong kong account (under 18) and it'll ask you to enter the email and password of the master account and it'll then send a confirmation email.

(On your PC) Follow the instructions in the email and make everything up (names/email etc), just make sure that you select no restrictions for chat and spending at the end (very important).

Now that's confirmed, go back to your ps3 and sign up as an existing user with the details you just made up on your sub-account sign up webage.

It's a lot quicker and simpler than it sounds :)

Thats great, but it wont work for me in the US! lol

My birthday was a couple of weeks ago and I didn't log on on my birthday. So, I didn't get anything :(. Anyone doing this exploit want to send me a car?

Stupid question but do I have to add my main PSN name as a friend or does it list the name automatically since it's on the same PS3?

You have to add the other accounts as a friend. Just send a request from either, or, and accept on the other end.

it only takes a second.

This only applies to new accounts created on the same ps3 with different emails.

Pity about the limit of only one car or ticket per day. I got myself a '92 Nissan Race Car on the first try - :)

Question: I used my secondary parent account to get the '92 car. If I create a sub account now (HK one), with, say 2009 birth date, will I get a pressie again if I'm logged into the child's PSN account? How does the save game sharing go, can two different PSN accounts get bday gift tickets on the same save file?

Another quick question!!When i make a new account it doesn't allow me to use the same email as my main one or my second one for that matter. Now I've got 3 accounts and not anymore emails if i want to make a fourth one!!Is this true or am i doing something wrong?

You know, only a sub account requires a verifiable email for a master account to authenticate age permission. In other words, PSN accounts solely used for the Birthday exploit dont have to be real.

{edit}

A 2011 birthday get a 2010 Ticket car.

Yes it does, I've done it. For 2003, 2009, and 2010

Just for the record, if anybody has doubts about receiving certain racecars. I have successfully received a Mazda 787B '91, R92CP Nissan '92, 2003 Bentley Speed 8, 2010 908 peugeot racecar

Just keep trying, if you dont have a USB to back up, you can save your GT5 game save file to a different user and reload, or you can just delete your game save and restart the game until you get the car you want. But a USB is fastest!

You know, I wasn't going to do this. I figured I'd just log in on my birthday and get my one nice free car and be happy with that. I logged in on my birthday last week and was gifted.... a 1979 Honda Civic.

Ugh. I think I might have to dust off the old USB drive and see about getting myself some of the 15-20mil cr cars that I've seen.

Hello everyone, I'm kinda new to GTP.

I have read as much of the thread as possible before posting a reply and haven't found this anywhere, but still very sorry for repeating something if someone has already said it.

Just a couple pointers for people if you are having trouble getting particular cars:
After creating the dummy account and receiving the gift ticket and sending it over to main account - Delete the save file and reload the game the same day to receive the gift ticket again.
The next day (after 12am for me) back up the save file, then send the gift ticket to the main account again, close down the game and recover the save file for the next time. And Repeat.

I did it three times for 1989, because there were three cars originally. Although, I figured I may as well just open three at a time, as I could always just start again and three days later do the same, as I still have the user with a ticket to give away and can recover each day. I personally do this for the later models when there are a lot of potential cars on offer, so I have a higher probability of getting my car - 3 / 25 rather than 1 / 25! You can't really go wrong, I have got two race cars in one try! R89C and Sauber!!!

Another thing, you can use completely fictional info in the UK when creating psn accounts, email included, nothing is verified, plus I must have used over 10 accounts already, so don't know what the limit is for one PS3, but haven't got there yet!? It is unfortunate you can't delete the accounts off the ps network though?!?!

Okay so from what i've briefly read you can create other accounts and you put your DOB in and receive a car from that year which you can send to your main account? How do you create an account?, how many can you have?

How do you create an account?

The same way you created your existing account. Make a new User on the PS3 then when your are logged in as that user scroll over to the right hand end and create a PSN account. You don't need to give any correct data. It doesn't email you so anything will be fine. Just use a password you can remember. Also you need to remember the email address you used as this is your login. Use sensible email addresses that are in someway logically linked to the birthday year you are creating.

how many can you have?
I think it's pretty much unlimited. Unless you are adding accounts for under 18 year old birthdays. In those cases they have to be tied to your main account and I think there is a limit of 6 or something.

also does this mean
i have my master account and 1 sub account
if i give the ticket to my master account
can i delete the sub and do it again?

even better question..
can i make a sub account on my ipod touch?

I don't think it's easy to delete the sub. You can delete it from your PS3 easily enough, but I think PSN still has it after that, and you can't easily get rid of it that way.

Probably. If you can do it from a computer, you can most likely do it from your iPod.

Okay, when you create your "birthday account", you want to use today's date (or whatever day you plan on sitting there trying to get your favorite birthday car) and the year of the car as your birthdate. For instance, if I were doing this today, trying to get the Nissan R92CP Race Car '92, I'd put my birthday as 01/30/1992.

You're limited to a max of 6 sub accounts per master account.
Even if you delete the sub it'll still count as it's been registered to the master account.

You can have up to 16 total accounts at one time on your PS3, but you can delete them with no problems and make more.

Ok, this is painful to ask.

I'm noob when it comes to this glitch, so basically you just create a PSN account with the year you want a car to be gifted to you?? What's the deal with sub-accounts? What is the difference using those?

Yes.

Sub accounts can get birthday tickets too...the deal is though...Sub accounts are 18 years of age (newer cars). You have to use a Master Account (or Parent account if you will) to authorize the sub account and set permissions on the sub account to receive the birthday gift ticket.

{fake edit}

A 2011 birthday will get a 2010 Gift Ticket...mostly Nascars but you can get some the McLaren MP4-12C and the Mercedes AMG SLS.

Soooo.... that bogus account you set up to birthday glitch? If you host a bspec remote race from it you can enter all 6 of your main account's drivers in the race and earn XP and credits on all 6 for each and every race. Just sayin'.... Just make sure you manually save after collecting your winings, as the game doesn't autosave from that menu.

wouldnt you need at least 2 ps3's to do that though? You would have to exit server stand by mode to get to your other accounts if you only have 1 ps3
