Looks very tasty:dopey:

It is tasty... cooked it up in my own kitchen :sly::sly:

1:58.702 after a few free run laps. 👍 on the tune, although I still found myself having to get off the throttle to get the front to stick. But that is the way this car handles, no matter what. You sure made it easier to drive though.

Thanks for the feedback 👍 glad you like it :)

Fuji Speedway 650PP PRO World Event- BHT Honda NSX-R '02

I recently saw a new event get created called Japan vs. Italy on Fuji.... This event involves the NSX pitted against the 512BB... I decided to make a tune for it since the NSX-R is always fun and challenging to drive fast... I tried to get rid of the nasty lift-off oversteer which at times can catch you by surprise and throw you off course... I have been able to nullify it a bit and if you STAY SMOOTH... you will cruise like a missile down Fuji... I have included a Hot Lap Replay again for reference... This was, however, not a totally mistake free lap and not my fastest.. :D Give it a go and feedback is welcome as always... 👍

Tips: BE VERY SMOOTH... the smoother you are the faster you go with this car and try not to let the throttle go completely when entering corners etc. Also small precise steering movements... try not to be jerky with the steering inputs...

We'll I tried the "vette tuned and while it is definatly safe, I couldn't beat what I do with my tune with the Viper (an amazingly slow 2.00), when everyone else is doing .57s, 56s, I should be able to muster a highish .57. It looks like I maybe need some more practice at this (but I'll give my tune to someone else to see ho it goes).

Anyways, my thumb is back to good order, so if you need me do to a proper review, just hit me up 👍

PS - Nice colour choice for the Amuse S2k :sly:

Thanks for giving it a go... I'm going to try to upload a replay of some sorts for the Vette tune as well... maybe that can help you out getting lower times...Im not super fast with the Vette either... I fair better with the S2000 in that nice shiny blue color :)

Your Suzuka 750PP PRO event- BHT Amuse Honda S2000 and Suzuka 750PP PRO event- BHT Mine's BNR34 Skyline GT-R Spec II tunes are of exceptional quality. Thanks! Also, net power for the Suzuka 750PP PRO event- BHT Corvette/Tuned by GT comes out to be 417 and not the 406 that is mentioned. I'm sure it is a typo. Thanks again!

I've used your tune more than often Blitz. I just wanted to send a token of appreciation and give some sort of recognition if I may:sly:. Thanks man. Your tune like AlcatrazT2 had stated are "exceptional"👍

Thanks for the comments! Glad you liked the tunes... :) I really tried to go all out on these and put down some good quality tunes.. since 750PP is back in full effect :D And thanks for pointing out the typo! I'll change it right away!

nice driving BLITZ you must have stayed of the drink that day lol :)

nice driving BLITZ you must have stayed of the drink that day lol :)

 Thanks man... I got an Amuse 350z tune in the works... for 650PP like you requested... So it will be for Fuji 👍 Keep an eye out on your PM :)

It seems im going to have to look into the NSX-R again... looking around the forum I see most people have chosen R2/R3 tires.... So I'm going to do some testing and see if I can go from :44s to :43s or :42s :) So the NSX-R tune will get updated soon so it can compete with the big boys 👍

Hi Blitz,

I've tried your Tuned 'Vette setup. Perhaps it's just not fitting my driving style, but I found it had a LOT of understeer, especially in fast corners (noticed it especially in the first corner (when you brake for the second apex), the second spoon, and the 130R.

I do usually like a little understeer but I felt there is really a lot here. So I tried to increase front and rear wings, and add a few kilos to stay under the PP limit. Right away I felt I had much better control of the car, better reactivity in the corners, but then I felt that the engine wasn't quite pulling it hard enough for race conditions.
So I added yet a bit more weight and increased the horsepower. The extra hp actually helped somewhat cure the understeer as well, because the rear feels more reactive when I put my foot down on the exit... (this is especially noticeable in turn 1). Then I very slightly modified the gearbox ratio to account for the top speed loss (it's minor, probably about 5mph max.. made the final gear at 3.5), and almost gained a few 1/10 of a second and especially a lot more comfort.

Best time with your tune: 1'58.9
Best time with more weight, power, and full aero (and updated gearbox): 1'58.4

I didn't touch the chassis settings, which I think are good. But now it's more stable under braking, more reactive in the esses, and I feel it's more inviting to attack now. :) In terms of lap time, for me all the time is won in sector 1, in the next two both setups were almost identical. You wanna try and let me know if you agree or if it's just more suitable to my driving style?

Anyway, great work on all your tunes! I don't post much but I do enjoy them a lot. 👍 Keep it up!

Thanks for taking the time to make a nice write up for feedback. This kind of stuff helps me out a lot... I have to admit I had been wrestling with the Corvette quite a bit to get it going well.. or atleast how I wanted it to go... started off with stiff suspension, then it was brought to my attention by my test drivers that a softer suspension will go quicker... so I went softer and after about 3 or 4 tries with different tunes I had decided to put this one up and move on :) I will definitely test out your suggestions and let you know if it improves the overall setup... Again thanks for the detailed write up and glad you like the tunes I make! Always good to hear :D 👍

I never got to give you my changes..and I never got to try your new setup.

I think the latest setup will be more to your liking... if we can work the kinks out of it and test your changes as well, it will probably end up being one hell of a tune :)

That is my idea Blitz. Organize the first post. Then tonight I will make all the images for you to use.

I should get my ps3 today or tomorrow.

Looks good Chad. Much more handy like that!

May I suggest to also add something to see wether a tune is old or new? (before or after update, or simply a release date)

That looks damn good Chad... 👍 Nice and organized :) I'll get busy ASAP!

Looks good indeed 👍

Maybe just orginize them in spec 1,2 and 3 is more then enough. If you orginize them on date it will be harder to find what you want cos i have know idea anymore when the spec up-date were released

Thank you Cal and Blitz. I just got my PS3 this afternoon. Brand new 60gig model.

Tonight I will have the images ready for the first post.

Good idea. I'll leave that to Blitz. He is the one who can edit his post.

Chad

Ok guys... Ive edited the first post and decided to leave out Spec I and II tunes, because who is going to use them?? If anyone wants them theyre in the beginning of the thread anyway.. Everything on the front page is now Spec III tunes only.... Cant wait for the images Chad... its going to look nice indeed 👍 Thanks for the ideas Calc and Room :)

Next will be separate images for each heading and for each track. Thanks.

Edited first post with the new Logo pic... Looks nice Chad! Its going to look very neat and clean 👍

Tonight I will make the other images. And I will test some tunes. I like that Blitz.. Replays of each tune now. Give a replay that show thats it can go as fast as we say..

Keep it up Blitz,

Chad

Yup, I got that idea from your video commentaries and my Sony Cybershot camera makes nice clips on fine detail... 👍 So I think I'll keep doing it that way from now on... adds a little flavor to the tune and show people some tips on how to drive it :) I'll see the images when theyre ready and put them on the first post ... Thanks for your help Chad.. the logo shot is nice with the M3 and F1 car 👍

I think that those you tube videos will start setting you apart from your competition. We are almost done with the new look, so hopefully we will see more users with blitz tunes.
