Ohhhh, I comment on your pics ;)

I like the 2 batches of animals shots.
Really like the dof of the happy feet pic.
On processing the raw, I maybe process 1% of my pictures. My HDD are screaming under the weight of the raws and tiffs. Rofl
Critics points : well hard as I am a noob to photography.

Thanks ibo! Youre in here quite regularly and I aprreciate any feedback I can get. Doesnt matter to me if youre experienced or not. Good or bad every little bit helps 👍

Excellent wildlife stuff. 👍

Beautiful bokeh on the Heron shot, and I like the mood in the Lion shot. 2nd butterfly is great also.

Thanks for commenting Grand Prix. Was wondering if those shots were good or not. Atleast it gives me some confirmation that makes me feel like I'm on the right track with my shots and post-processing, most of all. 👍

Last animal shots... Time to move onto something else :P

Nice colorful pictures.
Is that the fish from Nemo?

Thanks Ibo! That is not Nemo himself... :P I have a pic of Nemo, but it didn't turn out to great... not really focused and ISO was jacked up real high, so too grainy as well... couldnt fix it enough to make it worthwhile...

No not Nemo, it's the same fish as the blue one with the scar in the fishtank I think.
This fishpic is top quality 👍

Hello all... Been a bit lazy and left a lot of RAW data from the zoo trip unfinished... Dove into it yesterday again, but still a bunch to go. :) Here are a couple I finished processing yesterday.

Good shots, I've tried butterflies in the wild, and got nothing anything like as good as those 👍

Thanks for the kind words Matski! Although they werent really taken in the wild... I cheated... :P It was in a botanical garden at the zoo here in Amsterdam :)

Oh God, how beautiful. Superb.

Was thinking of getting a DSLR camera too (ot what they're called), but decided to get an "ordinary" one and ended up bying a Nikon P300, with which I am happy. 👍

^ Thanks for the comment. :) Also if the Nikon P300 suits your needs and what you shoot, then its all good 👍 One thing I noticed, is that theres a lot of work involved with a DSLR. I always shoot in RAW nowadays, so that means each picture needs a bit of post-processing... :) Time consuming, but fun!

Good to hear it works for you. 👍
I will open my personal photograph thread in march I guess, when spring arrives. Gonna tour through the city by bike at least one time a week and shoot everything I find intresting and beautiful enough, gonna be so epic!

I may even post one of my better pics here just for comparison, not that I expect them to be of a quality like yours, but I hope rather similar. 👍

^^ Sounds good :) I will definitely have a look when you've done so. 👍

Was walking towards Amstel Station today and came across this view... Luckily I had my camera with me :)

Snow, freezing temperatures, sunlight and Amsterdam together create some nice photo ops... Tried to be a bit more creative on some of these to make things bit more interesting. :)

^ Thanks mate... This section of GTP is kind of dead lately... Happy to see someone come by and comment :P Ive just been shooting a bit of everything lately to get practice in. :)

Your pics are really good - the colours really pop off the screen. But #9 is actually my favourite one - great composition.

^ Thanks Mike! Finally some traffic here :D:tup: #9 is one of the better ones imo... Quite simple composition wise and when I turned it B&W it just all came together!

I need to get out too. But it is SOOOO cold :)

And been iceskating on the river yet?? (saw it on the news ;))

As always, nice pics.

And yes this section is pretty dull regarding posting and comments. At least the few here try to still breath some life into it.
Will update my gallery too, have really cute bunny baby shots

^ Havent been ice skating yet.. Plan to go on the canals this weekend and take some shots while im on the ice... :) Should be cool!

And you should tough it out and go out into the cold... Its worth it ;) I was really happy with what I shot in the cold recently. Good light with snow covered subjects makes for some good pictures!

As usual thanks for stoping by! :D

Went out skating on the canals over the weekend... Had my trusty camera handy as well :)

The 7th one in your iceskating set is really cool, and I think with some different editing the 8th shot could be pretty special, too. 👍

Thanks man! 👍 What would you suggest editing-wise for the 8th shot with the arches? Or shall I send you the RAW file so you can have at it...
