Blizzard Mountain expansion

I cannot travel to the new map. "Failed to download required marketplace data. Please try again later.". But I can purchase the new cars.

Have you installed the expansion itself? It's 3,66 GB, in case you want to know.

In Games & Apps, find FH3 and choose "Manage Game Data". The pack is sitting there waiting to install.

So I think I won the expansion from the Turn 10 stream earlier, just copy/pasted the code as quick as it came up and hammered the Enter key

well I wont be playing this today, amazingly the blizzard and first update came in at about 6Mb/sec but the next update is less than 400kb/sec..

Same here, I drove the first race but it is not there..Maybe we have to work for it..BTW the Ice lake is cool

They wear wooly jumpers and hats, no real outdoor stuff so they probably look silly in open top cars.

I absolutely love just how they opened the first run of this Expansion. Cutting the ropes and tearing down the mountain is such a cathartic feeling.

Anyone else feel the Warthog is a bit OP on Blizzard Mountain? You practically never have to brake and if you want any real hope of beating the cheaty AI in Extreme Offroad races you have to drive one yourself. PG should probably remove the snow tyres from it to level the playing field a bit.

OK, I'm really confused now. I've downloaded and installed the Blizzard Mountain Pack, reset the console, but Blizzard Mountain is still locked in the game. Any ideas? :-/

Same here. It says you need an xbox live membership to access the content. Surely that's not true??

Aw really? Mine just says 'Feature is currently locked. Keep playing to unlock it'. - I'm already playing online... Seems odd. I can't help you with your problem sorry.

So you can only access Blizzard Mountain if you got xbox gold? Brilliant, I wouldn't have bothered with the expansion pass if I'd have known. So, no barn find, no Blizzard Mountain and no Gymkhana Focus? Just....swell. It would have been nice if players had been aware of this.

Actually forget my previous post. Jumped the gun. In order to access Blizzard Mountain you have to unlock the area of the map around Redstone airport (quite a bit west of Surfer's Paradise)

Edit: Looks like it still isn't working, even after I drove to the icon I am locked out of the expansion pack. It's allowed me to download all of the Blizzard Mountain cars though. I can't get my head around it.

Type in Xbox.com/status that maybe the reason you can't enter the BM extension.

I'd be very surprised if that was the case, in the rally expansion for FH1 all of the cars were available in the main game.

I installed mine via the My Games and Apps' Manage Game function. It sat there as Ready to Install.

Only did the intro race and painted my starter Impreza, but what a great looking locale.

I have not yet purchased the expansion but the new car pack appears in the main game's Autoshow with the DLC icon. I think this answers your question.
