Full laptime, we just give our T splits to gauge how we are competing with others. The total laptimes are not given except to the Race Steward (EDK 👍) via pm by the due date. Until then, race away and tell us your T1 time!

Okey! I edited:

T1 at 37.967

And full laptime i will send to who? Via PM then?

Send a Private Message (PM) to 'EDK' (the one who made the first post in the thread) with your final time. Keep in mind the due date isn't for a while so you can still better your time as its common practice to just pm the Race Steward once with your final time. If you have any other questions, let us know and welcome you are new here, right? Make yourself at home, we all do :)

okey, thanks! I did send a PM to EDK with my best time ^^
I Have the best split time sofar! :embarrassed: I am happy to be in lead in 2 races sofar. I have photo prof ^^

Unfortunately, as I know well (I actually have a faster split than you, by .004, in post #19), photo proof isn't enough, nor is a video. You need a device called a Max Drive so you can attach replays in the thread here to be verified. Otherwise, as the first post says, you will not be allowed to officially compete and appear in the results, assuming you're in the top 3 times (and you certainly seem to be). I do not have a Max Drive, so I'm just running the event for fun and not being put on the leaderboard or results.

Too bad EDK is going to be gone for a couple days. He would be able to tell you officially whether you're allowed to actually compete in this series or not.

Regardless of all that, keep improving your lap, and of course have fun! :)

Hi Andre, and welcome to GTP. 👍

I have received your PM. Austin is correct here. For this series and for the WRS, the only acceptable means of replay proof is the actual data file in .max format.

I'm limited on time and resources at the moment here, but there is information here on GTP in regard to what a max drive is and where to get one.

This device would not doubt be of value to you if you are consistently running among the fastest racers in the GTP events.

I'll explain in more detail later, along with sending you some info via PM, once I've returned home tomorrow. 👍

If i record a replay i can still cheat, but if i take a photo of the session time i get hp and stuff like that too. Anyway, i just want people to see my speed ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;)

A replay is the only way to determine a clean and valid lap. The replay shows the HP and tire choices as well. Photos and video can easily by doctored by anyone with a little knowledge. Unless you are able to tamper with the .max replay file there is no other way. 👍

The problem is that without sufficient proof (and a photo is definitely not sufficient), many, if not most, people will remain skeptical that you are actually that fast and not cheating or making up your times. That's just how it works around here.

Okey, i dont have stuff to save my replay on my computer, so i cant really show i guess? Anyway, i have to compete for myself then ^^

If you have a few douzen Euro's to spare, go get a max drive. I did so myself recently and it makes racing so much more fun, knowing that you have the chance to show off for real. (I have yet to use my MaxDrive, I'm not that good I guess).

hehe, i can show off with my R/C car racing if i want to, or Race07. But i guess i gonna just compare my times to others instead ^^

Having really hard time to concentrate because of mild fever..

still, I improved some as my headache is getting milder.

split:

T1 38.269

I improved to a 38.882 in a quick session tonight, while picking up about 0.5 at the line. Will give it one more go tomorrow night to see if I can improve.

Will get the board sorted etc. sometime tomorrow.

I made another attempt at this over the weekend and managed to take about .4 off my final time. My split is slower than the one posted. I think I am still about .2 away from that cup racer Kenny. :sly:

I was told to shift to 5th on the first big sweeper turn. I was just running it out in 6th. I am having difficulty in achieving the correct speed and line through there. Basically it's a mess. I will most likely stand with my current time and submit tonight. 👍

Me too. :dopey:

I finally found a bit of a groove last night, and grabbed a tenth or so on 4 or 5 consecutive laps. But then it went away again. :grumpy:

Anyhow, I got the board up to date, glad to see so many of you in here and having fun. And RonB at the top of the board. Nice one. 👍

Blind hog finds an acorn every now and again!:) Last sector wasn't that good :dunce: besides, the cream will rise by the time this one is over and I'll be back mid pack as usual.

Glad you're safely back home. Those beer fests can be strenuous

That's one helluva lap, gtbadboy! I'm sure you're just smooth and fast, but maybe you want to double check you have only 501 HP. EDK described passing his +20 ghost with one on stock power, so it's not out of the question. I can barely imagine a sector time that fast! I thought I had hit everything nearly perfectly (for me) on my lap, but it seems I was mistaken. I didn't think of shifting to 5th, I've always stayed in 6th. I'll need to try that out tonight, but I don't think I'll realistically get any faster time than what I've already got. Good luck to everyone still going at it. 👍

Austin, I suspect the reason you can't run a sub 38 is you're not running 601 hp like I did. Doh!:dunce:

Should have realized something was wrong when I found myself up there in the rarefied air.

38.585 puts me where I belong I suspect.

Sorry for the confusion, these old eyes aren't what they used to be. I shall endeavor to be more careful when I read the specs. :dunce:

Got you fixed up. 👍

Still 29+ hours to the deadline, get busy and you might be able to catch that old split. :sly:

Either way, nice runs from you and Kenny. 👍 As you could see, the Opera Paris combo in WRS was more on the lines of a combo I excel at. ;)

That explains it! Although it doesn't seem to make a huge difference. Actually, I did run a lap just now with a 37.921, but it was because I took the right-left wrong, although I did end up a shade faster. Then I decided I wasn't satisfied with that and ran some more, and got a 38.091 that turned into both my fastest time yet and one below my goal, finally! But the lap looked really sloppy :banghead: and I think I can still see another .1 or .2 in it. The likelihood of getting any of it, though, is of course very low. :dunce:

Wish I had more time for the last race, but life happens. I'm gonna give this one more go and see what happens.

Jerome

Hey Jerome,
I gave it one more go tonite and improved my overall by...........

.009 :indiff:

I'll be submitting this lap with a t1 of 38.256

Good luck to all.

This is hard to find time, why can't I just transform into Mr P and just be faster :P I'm done I only got .03 slower than my previous time. Submitting now, still good fun indeed Kenny!

Jerome

Ran another session, but could not improve. Sticking with my lap from last night. 👍👍

Tried to improve from last session, no improvement thought.

Time submitted

Picked up just 0.102 at T1 but 0.35 better at the line - I know there's more time but I can't seem to hit the apex at turn 2.

38.279
