Hope there is enough interest to get this one going. To schedule the race night, I'm looking to get at least 12 drivers for one of the two time slots available by Monday 12pm noon est.

If we have a very strong turn out for one slot (over 24 drivers), we will split to 2 rooms. If we have at least 12 for both slots, I plan to run both races.
Sorry mate - looks like a good series, but can’t make the timeslots:)

Here's my livery!

Nice job 👍 . Only a few details to be tended: place a yellow square box (to signify the gold driver classification) in the number area of the numberplate, then overlay your car number, and the box under the number on the rear of car. Also, apply the white banner and yellow headlamp lenses..

Other than these small details, everything else is spot on and perfect.

Interesting note from practice tonight. The guys on the softer compounds of tire will have to be extra cautious when making and getting passed. A slight little bump from them will cause someone on a harder compound to lose way more time than the person on the softer compound. I was on Hards in practice and about to pass a soft tire driver, but he ever so slightly touched my car mid corner, which would normally be nothing at all, and by the time I could settle the car and get back on the throttle he was so far ahead he had already broken the draft. 👍

Hi Phlano099, glad to have you with us. Since you are signing specifically for the late race slot and the grid is full, you will be our first signed up Reserve for the late race in the event a driver withdrawals his entry. All other Reserve drivers listed for the late race will fall behind you for priority since they had already raced the early race. If more than one entry is withdrawn, open spot for the late race will then be offered in priority order.
@Phlano099, stay close to the thread and I'll keep you updated if any openings present themselves.

BMW M3 DTM Drivers Challenge
**Early Race**
Pre Race Briefing

Early Race Schedule:
2:30pm est: Race Room is open for Warmup
3:00pm est: Start of 25 lap race
*Grid order Set by Host using each drivers DR and then the Kudosprime Speedscore with the lower paced drivers in the front and faster starting in the rear.

Alright fellas, race day is here. We have a huge turn out for this event in both time slots and a full 16 car grid is expected with Reserves available if needed.
As noted in the heading, this is a Drivers Challenge event, set up to Challenge all drivers from all skillsets. For the less experienced or lower paced drivers, the challenge to run consistent and mistake free, and to not buckle under the pressure of known faster drivers. For the faster, higher ranked drivers starting toward the rear, the burden and biggest challenge is presented....to cleanly navigate your way through a field of drivers that are much closer in pace due to tire compound concessions making every single position a battle of its own. No overtakes will come easy.
Given that a Drivers DR and Speedscore were the leveling markers, there are potential irregularities that can and will pop up...some drivers may appear (unexpectedly) much faster in lap times, but keep in mind that is only one dimension of a race...can he keep it on the track at that pace, can he run as well in traffic, will he break under pressure? These are all things to keep in mind. Also, in this event, drivers that are familiar with the top step of the podium should temper their expectations and expect a tough fight for each and every position. The podium won't be guaranteed, but for those who start outside the top 10 and find their way to the podium, know that it was very well earned.

I have raced with just about every driver signed up for this event at some point and believe we are are quite familiar with the OLR and etiquette of online racing. I would like to ask all drivers to be mindful of these rules, being aware of your surroundings, respecting other drivers lines and space, and be very aware in the braking zones of the speed differences due to the strong draft created by this car and the varying tire compounds being used.
1.) Pitstops: should not be necessary, but are allowed if necessary at any time.
2.) Track Boundaries: drivers should make every attempt to keep at least 2 wheels on the track surface at all times. Curbing is considered track surface for this event and may be used. Asphalt runoff areas separated by a white line only, the white line is the track boundary...keep 2 wheels inside. If an advantage is gained due to a track Boundary infraction, lift off the throttle for "2 One, One thousands" to satisfy. This will be peer to peer governed since we are running penalties off. If any drivers notice a significant advantage gained by an opponent driver, please pm me to review post race.
3.) Race Integrity and Stewardship: if any drivers are involved in any on-track incident where a concession did not satisfy the offense, please pm me post race with an approximate lap number to have it reviewed.
All drivers, please verify your required tire compound and car specs with the chart in this spoiler box:
