Looks really good. 👍

Just hope it stays more up-to-date after a few years. The previous model seemed to fall completely off the radar towards the end of its life cycle.

Looks great! 👍

The back though is just yuck.

I love the double bubble roof and the car seems very powerful. I think BMW is being very conservative with acceleration numbers. BMW said the F10 M5 can do 0-100KM/h in 4.4s and C&D have recorded it for 3.7s.

I'm liking the interior. Lots of swooping lines and curves. I'm also a big fan of controls that favor the driver.

I'm not much of a fan of the rear end. Looks like a bad copy of the Mercedes E type.

It is very polarizing, I can still see some of the bangle butt influence from the last gen M6. It's a love it or hate it design but it looks nothing like the E-Class to me

The new BMW M6!. All is can say damn this car is such a good looker . This is all part of this new BMW design that is slowly but surely stepping o nthe throats of Audi, Mercedes and Lexus. The new 3 series is absolutely gorgeous. Now this. A far cary from the last generation M6 banglebutt. Just wow.

I accidentally made another thread for this. Also yo ushould edit the title to 2013 BMW m6 rather than 2012. i think its for 2013

That looks pretty awesome, I did not like the new 6er at first, but this is gorgeous and probably has the performance to go with it. Shame it doesn't have a high revving NA V10. I'll take one in Jerez black, please

Is that a helmet-accommodating carbonfibre roof, I spy?

That is a fine looking automobile. I'll take a coupe in blue, thanks!

(EDIT) Threads merged :)

Whoa, this looks incredibly better than the first 6. The interior is also awesome, but I'd like it more if it wasn't two colors, though maybe you can work that out in your order. Very cool car.

Wow I didn't expect it to look this good, I never really liked the previous 6 styling all that much.

Jay
I never really liked the previous 6 styling all that much.

I think, I was one of the (very) few who actually liked how the previous car looked. That being said ,the new M6 looks absolutely brilliant, I will also take a Coupe in blue, thanks.

Leaves me a bit cold...Wish they'd have more exciting wheels to begin with.

What is this car's competition? Not a 911 as it's too fat, so Jag XKR, SL AMG or Audi RS5?

Much better then previous 6 series... That isn't saying much. Still got an ugly butt and not digging the lines on the door. But still much better then rest of the BMW lineup.

Yeah but I think human hands can clean those wheels :P

RS5 and that group sounds about right. Should be interesting to see the performance numbers once it gets tested and such.

I love the design of this new 6 Series. The rear is a little busy, but other than that, I think it's one of the best looking BMWs to come out recently. 👍

I find it interesting that BMW decided to slap on a tiny M6 badge on the front grill, and on the kidneys themselves no less. They haven't done that since the E34 M5 was facelifted in 1994. Honestly, not a big fan of that badge there. I think it's unnecessary and it looks oddly out of place.

I'm confused. Why does everyone think it looks great. It looks as if it's just gotten a whiff or a 90 year old cheese! And it's sort of screwing its face in disgust. It's too big and bulky, and it looks stuck up. Just giving my opinion...

At least they didnt resort to the awful "integrated" exhaust like the Merc above and that one sees on lots of Lexus'. Hate that. I want to see pipes, not squashed tubes!

Good on-paper performance, great looking (except for the rear), I love it... I'm out of words to say. The interior is where it gets me. Exquisite!

I just read the ENTIRE press release. Its like an erotic porn story lol. Cross drilled vented steel brakes with a carbon-ceramic option package. Valvetronic, M-DCT with Auto and Manual mode, 560ho, 500lbft torque:eek:, Limited Slip goodness. Cool car. I think the Mercedes looks really neat too!(the E500). The exhaust fit well.

M5 is 120k, m6 will be what? 130k? And how much with optional? 150k? Seriously?

I rather get GT-R and a new flat than buying this. It is in a price range o Porsche ... worth that much? You decide.

Joie de vivre!, is that a price in Euro? I think all-in-all the price is somewhere similar to the Mercedes SL65...

EDIT: Which in anyway won't stop people from buying it. Seriously...

Looks way better than the predecessor, really good actually.
Not a huge fan of modern BMW, but this one looks nice.
