I’m new to the forum and am I have been looking around for tuning setups for any and all BMW’S without much luck. More specifically I am looking for a solid setup for a full mod M5 as it is currently my favorite. It would be cool if people could post their best BMW setups and collect them all in one place.

Here is the First posted setup:

BMW M5 '08 (NÜRBURGRING TUNE) 699HP 1394KG

RH F -18 R-16
SR F 10.7 R 11.3
EXT F5 R5
COMP F5 R6
ROLL BAR F3 R4
CAMBER F 1.9 R 0.8
TOE F -0.03 R 0.14

Note: 6:58.399 Ring time sport soft tires. Not an easy drive, for drivers with great throttle modulation. Very fun, very fast.

The second setup is from RKM Motorsports: Just follow the link https://www.gtplanet.net/forum/showthread.php?p=4301332&posted=1#post4301314

Thanks for the post. I think i will try to collect some BMW setups (properly attributed) in this post because I'm sure there are plenty of people interested in tuning Bimmers.

it is a pretty good setup. i had to make a couple small changes because I'm not the greatest driver. i think it would be a perfect setup with a steering wheel because its hard to make smooth turns and throttle changes with the controller.

Hey MGuy, I have been working on my 08 M5 since I could afford it.

I'm at 694 HP at 1394 kgs.

Gonna jump in and try your setup.

Finally finding some Bimmer sets.

Cheers

Try the one posted here, I did the Nord with everything but st.3 engine and got a 7:28.xx. Probably would've done better but I pushed too much at the Karussel and come out too wide, then pushed a bit too hard later on and cut into the grass. Amazing overall tune for the Nurb' though.
THANKS Deutsch Rennen!!! Gonna try her out in the Nurb V 4hrs. once I get ~170mi on the engine.

Just checked, only st.1 weight red, carbon hood, and windows for weight. Just maxed upgrades so I'll keep on the Nurb until I get broken in.
Edit: Did st.2/3 weight red. and the car jumps around too much, the extra weight kept it planted better for me, especially since I don't have a wheel yet.

Used sports soft tires as well, extremely easy to keep on the track. Thought I was gonna lose it a couple of times but let off and she ripped back on and kept eating the distance to the finish!
