I seem to have a knack for continuously posting the race results at the bottom of the pages.
Quick link to the latest results and the points standings --------> #508

Me and If up in the mountains from this Tuesday;

I will probably be late for tonights race start as it clashes with our own event A to Z.
We start at 7pm GMT and usally are finished around 8.30 - 9pm GMT
Hopefully you will only miss Spa, Goofy. We will wait a few extra minutes for you though.

Good luck in A to Z. 👍

Thanks Jocke for the quick results,
I don't remember Spa, but I remember I stalled the engine on the grid at Monza.
By the way wtf was that grid at Nordschleife? Was this the drunk driver penalty?
And I think that drivers who chat that much (lbp) during races should warn others beforehand , so that you can mute them to your convinience if it disturbs you...
and yes, if you thought you spot some lame-ass losing side bitterness for being spanked Dusty-style by a new guy, you are not mistaken, this is everything this post is about.
In my drunken dreams I have seen Dusty, Pitorsk and lbp fight for the lead and crash all together, llimping back to the pits in bail-out mode, while the rest of us began to fight for our first alien-free podium.
Then I woke up with the mother of all headaches.
Have a nice Sunday, z8 racers.

Where the heck are the pits, I'll have to go and look for them. :dunce:

I'll let you use the services of my own personal pit crew, If. (#439)
Just look for the Stormtrooper and you will be all set. They'll take good care of you I promise.

That's 3,818,000cr worth of Z8's you have there. And if you add parts & paints, well...
I have to admit I bought Z8 number twenty-four yesterday. :embarrassed:
According to Wikipedia there were 5,703 Z8's built when it was in production.

So that means I only have another 5,679 left to purchase before I own each and every Z8 on the planet!

No, you won't get mine !
I offer you three million credits, a set of worn Comfort Mediums and a microwave oven with a BMW logo sticker on it right now for your Z8, David!
Do you accept cheques?
Streets of Willow! That will be interesting. Probably a lot of off track excursions. :P

It is indeed quite slippery, and I just had a few practice laps around the track.
The pit entry is very confusing what with all the cones and I got it wrong on more than one occasion.

If you don't enter the pits just right the system will not recognize it as a proper pit stop and your mechanics will not come out
to change tyres and/or re-fuel. I learned this the hard way at the Red Bull Ring before.

I will eat my hat if all of the cones are still standing at the end of the race. They're everywhere!
Just need to buy a hat first.
I got photos of a few of the races!
Wonderful, lb. Keep them coming

I myself ignored the cars this time and looked over the Nordschleife race again for something completely different.
Being the amateur astronomer that I am I tried to find Orion's Belt on the night sky.
And I think I was successful. It's dead center in the image below.

I'm not sure if it's a galaxy or nebula at the top of the photo in the distance.

You could've told me after the 1st race if I was annoying you. I wasn't to know.

sorry if it was not clear in my message but this is not to be taken seriously. I was just trying to make bad excuses in a poorly humoristic fashion.
maybe others were genuinely disturbed but tbh I'd have to be sober to try and evaluate if the chatter is really impacting my performance level, I really doubt it though.
I remember, maybe wrongfully, that there used to be a mic-off rule during races but tbh it may be in another club.
Anyways, and just to be clear your newcomer victories suffer no controversy about anything.
...except for the bribe you obviously forced into PD's hands to manage to get the top spot on the grid even when there's no Q...(and here we go for another poor attempt at a joke{doesn't it feel like a "c" is missing?} sorry 'bout that boys)
And man I admire the fact that you are able to be so fast while MCing the race, while I struggle not to forget to breath...
This time though I did not throw up after Spa, and I did not fall asleep before the start of race 2.
I feel like I am getting better at this.

Great pics everyone!
See you tomorrow:gtpflag:

Because qualifying was off it was set to fastest lap first. On the Nurburgring it was the case that whoever had gotten the furthest around their out-lap started first. So basically when there's no qualifying get out of the pits quick and stay on track until the race starts and you should get a decent start position. Knowing the game's quirks from playing (waaaaay) too much helps.

If we'd have swapped our grid start on Nurb. we'd end up with probably the same results, with you gaining a 20 second lead and me reaching 3rd or 4th. Kudos for getting from near the back right up to 3rd. I doubt I'd manage the same without causing a nuclear explosion of some description.

Just wear one of the cones. :P

But I already have, in the rain once when I battled for position with Goofy at Spa-Francorchamps.

The night sky is really very detailed. The Orion nebula, the Pleiades some galaxies etc are all there.
Just once I'd like to be able to see the Kuiper belt.
and I did not fall asleep before the start of race 2.
I feel like I am getting better at this.
I remember when that happened at Ascari
