i actually quite like the green and yellow combination. it's very jdm.

Thanks :) I like it too and just because its a bit different means some people dismiss it as horrible.

I like the last three of the GT40. Very minimalistic indeed.

Cheers man :) I thought it was fitting with the era of the subject I s'pose.

I'm impressed. Great pictures you have here, they are pretty subtle and very well composed. 👍

Thankyou!

Nibbers you old shagger, great stuff.👍

Cheers mate :)

Fantastic entries! My favourite is the last shot.

Cheers! :D

Yep, nice super GT shot. Great comp along the corner and the post work is nice too.

Thanks! Its a little hard to do pp because I have PS on the laptop, but I view most internet sites on the desktop, which runs AdobeRGB and I can't for the life of me figure out how to change it to that on the laptop, so everything comes out a little more yellow and vibrant for AdobeRGB users. Its a little hard to find a balance and make sure it works alright on both. 👍

Thanks! Guess who was driving it? They aren't the easiest things to keep in formation in the wet, especially when I'm using a pad. I thought about keeping it out of the shot, but I think the blur gives the whole thing a bit more motion. I could have focused on the Supra, but that would mean everything else would be blurry. 👍

i like the second shot on the latest update. i agree about the blur on the supra, giving it a feeling like it's fast approaching the other cars. or it could be falling behind just from the way it's framed. the nsx is nicely framed and presented as well, but the composition is all too common. good job though.

Looks nothing like a Standard car, a fantastic photo too.

How do you do those amazing panel gaps?

Like the action captured in the GT-R shot, not sure how I missed it before. "Bella" is also very good, excellent tones.

I cannot believe that I have not visited your gallery yet (even though I remember voting for your 2.0 Entry)! Your pictures always look so crisp and clean, while simultaneously being outstanding thanks to great composition.

Keep up your style, I like it a lot. ;)

Cleaning the car is all about looking at the image you have in front of you and thinking of how to make it look more realistic. Among other things, I find how the light hits and bounces off the car to be one main issue that should be looked at, so with the panel gaps (glad you noticed :) ), I realised more shading and highlights might be the go. Its basically burning down the seem, and dodging the side you think (or that actually does) catch the light. :)

Awesome entry!

Cheers!

How come I never visited this showroom?

Lol well it has been burried in pages and pages worth of other threads, so it's not hard to miss it :P - I had to have quite a search to find it myself...

Thanks!

Me too. Only saw it now. Fantastic pics:tup:! Not so surprised when knowing your a photographer right? ;)

Hahaha SOMEONE pays attention - I am indeed. :P

Cheers :)

Ah, so that's how you do it! Thanks so much, It'll definitely help when I eventually migrate to GT5 hopefully soonish.

Amazing stuff!

I like how you don't overflow us with pictures, but instead put a lot of work in a smaller amount of photos. And that definitely pays! 👍

Work on it now! Sure, I use premium cars but I find standard ones are more juicy to work on. I'm not sure if I do much cleaning on the premium cars. I first tried the technique out on GT4, with an entry for a 2.0 competition. I think I won by a landslide 30-1 (1 being my vote). I managed to fish it out of the photoshop account:

GT4 S14

(Its all a bit wobbly seeing as it was my first attempt)

Thanks! Could be because I don't have time and also each image takes a while to make sure there's nothing wrong with it. Also I don't like flooding people with images. :P

That being said, here's another 2.0 entry I fished out of the depths of my photobucket account (a while ago):

2.0 Entry - Muscle Launch
