BOP Adjustment Predictions

I don't know why you didn't quote me... I've only just seen this reply now... but anyway

The times are kinda redundant as no one in that race was getting anything close to the max out of the car they were using. But in a room of 20 people, 12 where using the 911.
Again, I'm not suggesting the 911 is broken or overpowered or anything like that, because it isn't. But I think the BoP for GR3 cars needs to be adjusted in general to reduce the amount of people using the same car. It's far more enjoyable to race different cars as they all have pro's and con's... constantly racing 911's when the odd decent GR3 race comes up, is some what tiring.
Only 12? In almost every daily I'm ever in it's between 16 and 18 !

The 991 is not the fastest, but, had to argue it is one predictable, controllable car...

You know what would put more cars in the fields... tuning.
Period.
PD can lock power/weight/ride height/aero... give us LSD/gears/Chassis.
Do that and I'll be in the Ferrari or Jag... don't see many of them right?
Done.
I think Gr.3 BoP is currently great, they just need to let us dial the cars in.

The only way to keep people from using the 991 is to essentially make it noncompetitive, which would be a shame. PD cannot jack with it's handling traits, it's already mid pack on power...

Interesting... I might have to do my testing all over again, since I used the same track to different results
Or maybe not; the fact that our results are different may mean that each car needs a specific driving style and is fast when used correctly

To be honest the 911 is a little OP. The RCZ and 911 used to be very close, now they are miles apart, they need to use the 911 as the base BoP setting and work on each car around it. As longs 2/3 cars are strong at each track that'll be good as the manufacturers cup will then be super diverse. Currently the 911 is strong at the majority of the tracks which isn't right.

Nations or daily everyone will go to the fastest car, but if another is close or another 2 are close on a given track at least that will bring diversity.

The way I would see BoP is that a more risky car in terms of control should be 2,3,4 tenths ahead of say a stable 911 so that you have the choice of a safety or higher risk. Trust me, aliens will pick the risk but they will also spin out as well! Lets be honest GT Sport is the perfect games in terms of being able to BoP due to the limited number of tracks. If it was a game with 50+ tracks then you'd have issues as that's a very large time spent doing balance of performance.

What do you use out of interest? CSA on weak or strong? TCS on or off?
CSA on Strong and I fiddle with TCS constantly during the race (0-2). That car is a handful but so fun.

I’m also exclusively on a DS4 since giving away my wheel setup.

100% agree... which is why we need tuning... beating the drum as hard as I can here... :)
