By lap 9 I'm all over road and people are just driving past me for fun. Tyre wear is showing a whopping 1 mm and that's enough to cause this loss of competitiveness. I'll pick another car and figure it out but jeesh

Just being honest here….the smallest of difference in tire wear has always made a difference. If you watched the manufacturers/nations cup with the top split…..they are at 1x wear but at the end of their tire windows, even being at 92% on their tires, the cars who had 95% were a bit quicker.

Throw that with a track like kyoto with so many turns and it wouldn’t take much in terms of a too much throttle in the wrong turns/slightly off driving line to make the difference in the race.

I’m only a B.S rank and nowhere near A/A+….but I’ve had to adjust my driving online because I’ve noticed you can actually use up your tires too much and those tenths will add up quickly. Push too hard and take bad lines trying to pass someone……later you’ll be losing a tenth on every corner

I agree. I'll just have to pick another car. I'm sure under some settings, the car is fine. 12 laps of koto... nope
