The Borderlands 2 difficulty mod which emulates up to four players when there's only one in order to increase the difficulty but also increase the quality of loot: Is this cheating? Discuss!
I think I'm going to give it a try, my internet connection is too fragile for me to do things like fight Vermivorous with other people, last time I tried I got disconnected seconds before he died and then when I got back in the game all the loot was gone... And I was the only one even trying to revive people the entire time.
(Note: if you want to use it, be very, very careful to close it when you've finished playing. It's a memory hack tool which will definitely upset Valve Anti-Cheat, Punkbuster and other anti-cheat services and get you banned regardless of what you're playing!)
Edit: Yep, that certainly is more difficult. It's gone from being hard with normal loot to very hard with slightly above average loot. I've so far managed to find two purple vehicle skins in Skag piles but apart from that the weapons are very average.
