Finally found a picture that works.

1990s Honda Accord

For some reason, I've always had a fascination with these. The Type-R in particular is brilliant but the normal trims interest me too; it's one reason I bought the European Civic of a similar vintage.

Hey there I see you like 90's Hondas too.

I've seen one of the Malibus from the first page here in the UK. Incongruous considering its close relative the Vectra being native to these shores.

I have to mention the Toyota Carina E. Considering its early 90s launch, I think the design has held up very well and, being a British-built Toyota with impeccable build quality, the car itself will hold up for many, many years to come. It is no wonder these cars are everywhere around here. The 2.0 models are not slow either, with 130~160 HP in a surprisingly light chassis.

It also had a legendary touring car career (but for the wrong reasons )

Nearly an exact version of my mom's car. The headlights are a bit foggier on this one, and it looks like it's in a better condition.

Turbo power, bro!
Looks boring, but it's actually really cool.

One of my cousins in New York used to drive a Passat of similar vintage, but in maroon. Don't recall what engine it had, but I'd be inclined to say that it had the VR6, since the car was loaded. I only rode in it once, but found it to have a pretty nice, firm ride without being punishing. The car felt pretty solid, too. That said, it was disastrously unreliable and is now long gone. For comparison's sake, a '14 Passat TDI I've driven a couple times feels much more isolated and floaty; definitely more biased towards comfort. Both are pretty nice cars, though.

Yeah, the one we have is a 1.8T. It doesn't have any 0-60 to write home about, especially because we use 89 octane gas even though you're suppoed to use 93, but the engine is definitely pretty punchy, if there's a little turbo lag. The ride is a little firm, too. The reliability... Well, nothing major, but the same part keeps breaking all the time  But it's a really nice car, even though it's over 14 years old.

I miss the first-gen Integra, since they're almost impossible to find these days. I can't wait for some insane video game producer to decide that it needs to be included in their newest game...

Every time I see a new Avalon, especially from the rear, I'm surprised by how nice it looks. In the right trim and colour, it has a really quality look to it. In related news, I must have some illegitimate kids out there, because I've apparently become a grandfather.

2nd gen Eagle Talon Esi

Not even close to the most exciting car in the world, but I absolutely love my Esi and its a very fun car to drive.

Some of my favorites:

That red accord in your picture strikes me. My mom used to drive me to school in one of those when I was 13. That also was when they were brand new on the market. Funny thing if you fast forward 20 years I now own one. Here is a pic of the engine bay

With a little over 360 whp on tap makes it a really fun car ;-) without it makes for an extremely boring people hauler :-)

Mentioned this in the Guilty Pleasures thread, but I do quite like the Mazda Xedos 6, mainly because no one has a clue what the hell it even is and has a mid-90s American chintzy-ness to it. Also has some BTCC cred.

Non-turbo, base model Subaru Imprezas have always appealed to me, especially the really early models with the terrible front grille piece like the one pictured below. They just seem like they'd be good workhorses with character.

On the subject of Subaru, for similar reasons as the Impreza above, the Justy. A bland, rebadged Suzuki Swift/Geo Metro but with AWD. It's likeable in a weird way. Would've had one for a first car if they weren't so damn scarce.

Always liked the Fiat Brava, especially the back end.

And of course, it wouldn't be complete post from me without one of these:

only 0.1% of the GTPlanet population will get this one, especially because of the badge:

Russian exclusive
Also, do you know how most unreleased cars use black and white patterns? not this car when it wasn't released yet.

I do own one, but mine doesn't look boring with all the modifications, it just drives boring. I love seeing 10th-gen F-150 exactly like the one above (except for that dent in the door): clean and untouched. Not screwed with. I don't think I've ever seen a modified F-150 the same generation as my own (other than my own) that I completely like; there's always one custom part I take issue with.

It's a Datsun, which limits what it can be quite a bit, but it's certainly based on the Micra.
