SUVs I can understand to a point, bought one for my wife and don't regret it, but she is a stay at home mom and it only gets 16mpg with her driving. I'm no tree hugger, but it is funny when you see a 4 door pick up with a save the envirement or tree hugger bumper sticker on it. I just cannot rap my head around buying an F150 4 door 4wd with ecoboost just for status and not practicality. I have a young female customer who bought one to commute to work every day, but she does haul her quad on the weekends.I've never understood America's obsession with huge items or trucks as you like to call them. We've got a similar thing with SUVs. Never see them with mud on the tyres. Hardly practical, economical or easy to park in shopping centres.
Doesn't make it easy to see ahead following one of these giants in traffic either.
